Nice feel and build quality.

These pliers are fine. Like, genuinely fine. If someone handed them to me, I wouldn’t fling them across the room or anything. The nicest parts about them are the handle is nice and long, which gives you some decent leverage, and the grips look like they would be great… but looks are where the usefulness ends. The grips are really just hard plastic, almost like the manufacturer thought, “What if we visually implied comfort but didn’t actually deliver any?” Nothing bad, but nothing to write home about either. If you’re out here cutting coat hangers and snipping wire ties, you’re living your best life. As far as the cutting ability, they would be your standard “home use.” Think DIY projects, small wiring, maybe trimming something the dog chewed. Totally workable. But let’s talk about the claim: “Heavy-Duty.” Okay… no. As someone who has worked in the trades for 30 years now, I can confidently say these would not hold up very long in a professional environment. You could bring them to a job site, but their lifespan would be measured in hours, possibly minutes once someone finds a piece of real wire. That being said, at their current budget price point, despite their title, I don’t think anyone would truly confuse them with a professional-grade pair. If you buy them expecting “industrial beast tool,” you’ll be disappointed. If you buy them expecting “scissors for metal-ish things,” then you’re right on target.
