Loved this henna. Have tried almost all the brands available. But my search ends here. Gave a rich burgundy colour on my grey hair. In just 2 hrs. I had made a decoction of water in which I added methi dana, laung n coffee. Then soaked this henna in that warm water for an hour n applied it for 2 hrs. It gave a rich colour. Hope this helps.

Natural colour, no dryness

I'm getting older so I color my hair regularly. I've used boxed dyes and gone to the salons. I've not tried henna before so I wanted to try this. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. This pack contains 3 packets at 200 grams each. I appreciate the separate packages to keep the powder more contained. 2. I've got very dark hair so I was sort of expecting that the color may not change much. This is what happened. My hair is still very dark and it doesn't really become noticeable at all until I'm out in the sun. Even then, the effect is very subtle. 3. The powder and water mixed well. I followed the instructions so I could make a clay-like paste. 4. I used a small bowl the first time as I wanted to try it on my leg hair first. So I grew it out and that's what I used. 5. The effect on my leg hair is very subtle. Not noticeable indoors. I'm able to notice the skin color change. I didn't find it to be too bad, but it was there. It took some time before the skin was back to its normal color. 6. I had the same effect on my forehead but I was able to control the henna better so that it stayed on my scalp. 7. I leave the henna on for about 1 hour, as per Rufus. There's no chemical smell. A bit earthy but not too bad. 8. I didn't have any pain and my skin didn't feel bothered by it. 9. What's noticeable is that it made my hair look and feel softer. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I think that this 3-pack henna powder is cost-effective and worth its value because it came as a 3-pack. Also, it has made my hair feel softer even though the color changes aren't as noticeable. I was expecting this though and it has to do with my hair instead of the product.
