I ordered these to save space in my closet and because the velvet hangers seem to keep clothes from falling off the hanger. They also came in a variety of colors (I ordered light blue) which means that as I go through the house organizing, I can get a color for each person. That way, it won't work out that one person ends up with al the cool hangers. These flocked hangers (the industry calls them "velvet.) were nicely finished and when I opened the boxes (I ordered 100), I was delighted not to see little bits of flocking floating around in the box. One thing that I noticed right away was that they seemed sturdier than some other brands that I have bought, even though the cost per hanger was not that much greater. This is important, since one reason that I needed new hangers was that so many of mine had broken and been discarded. I went back and looked at the description, and these are rated to hold a weight almost twice that of most of the others. Yay! As I was reorganizing my closet, I found that I could hang wool coats without fear. And they were pretty! The light blue was a color I had not seen before and since my room and closet are painted light blue the esthetic was very agreeable. It was light enough that I didn't need to worry about dye transferring to my clothes (some black hangers do this for months after you start using them.) So sturdy, pretty, and functional What more could you want? Well, I could wish for matching skirt hangers with clips, or for a tie/sash bar across the neck, but these are absolutely perfect for basic coat hangers that will fulfill their function admirably,

These are great hanger. They can hold my giant winter coat very well so I would say they are pretty sturdy. It not to thick or two thin like goldy locks it just right.

I love being able to hang my v neck shirts and they stay on the hanger. The shirts aren't big, medium, but the would slide off the plastic hanger. I also love having all the hangers be the same. The quality is good.

I purchased these hangers to use for hanging the costumes I'd made for our church Christmas play last year. I wanted the non-slip hangers so that the costumes and other garments wouldn't fall off of them easily, but easy enough to remove the clothing for a quick costume change. They are fairly sturdy and even have notches to keep smaller items from falling off. Although a few of the heavier garments tended to feel like it was too much weight for the hangers--I didn't hear of any catastrophes of broken hangers. These are great for saving on closet space (not to mention the small racks that we used backstage to hang them on); the hangers are thin and take up very little space--unlike the wide plastic ones. Overall, I think this was a good purchase for my project---and I've been using them ever since in my own closet! So sorry that I didn't have enough time to take pictures of the racks with the costumes on the hangers.

QUANTITY: Purchased these to minimalize my closet. Had a goal of keeping it to only 50 or less based on hanger quantity. Was able to actually drop it down to 28! For the amount of hangers you receive I feel this was a very good price for the build of these hangers I have received. None of them had damage, and they were packed in a minimal, tight box which was a plus for me. Some of these companies ship products in such large packages but they kept this in mind. Each hanger was grouped in sets of 10 and bagged in thin plastic separately. COLOR: I chose the rose gold hanger color in case I move into an open closet design in the future so it pairs nicely with different color schemes. I do like that they had so many different color choices to suit your own style. It is an added bonus that the head of the hanger rotates as well so you can face your clothes all in the same direction if you'd like. VELVET: The velvet coating definitely has a good grip to hold any type of fabric. I tested it with wool, cotton, polyester, and mixture blends with no issue at all for any of the fabric types. In fact, it had such a good grip that I had to adjust the neck of the shirts on my thinner ones or it was stretching the neckline with how good it held. SIZE: I didnt have too many problems fitting the necklines of my shirts and sweaters through the length of the hanger itself. There were a few instances I really had to stress the neckline of some of my clothes to be able to fit it over the edge for hanging, but that shouldnt pose any damage to the long-term of your clothing. Worst case just feed the hanger from the bottom of your clothing into the neck if you have easily-stretched shirts/dress necklines. CONS: The only con that I could conceivably think of was that the velvet gave off a faint odor. I expect this with any type of product that has a material such as velvet, silk, etc on it when shipping. But the smell left a few minutes after opening the box so it didnt pose a long-term issue. I am only slightly concerned since velvet is porous that it could absorb odors, but as of purchase I havent smelled any issues.
