These landforms are perfect for montessori geography. We use for vocabulary building in a playful way. We use them for pouring activities with a measuring cup, droppers to transfer water from form to form, diff animals playing in the landforms, blindfolding/sensorial activities.., they are great hands on learning for extra fun at home. This set is a must have for any parents looking to expose their young kids to geography Montessori at an early age!! Love them!! TLDR They act as toys that hold water for play with an educational element!

As much as I want to love this product, I simply cannot. I purchased this with the intention of children using these trays regularly. However, I was very devestated to find that they are made of very thin flimsy plastic which could easily break. The blue is painted on which you can scratch off with your fingernail. I fear that this tray will fall apart within day and cause some danger to children. I found out that this was shipped from the states but will need to returned to an address in china. Unfortunately I will have to keep these and go purchase another set of trays sturdy enough for children to use and love.
