This product is great, I can finally chop onions very quickly and tear free. Looking at the space between the two blades, I thought this product would not be able to achieve a fine mince, but after pulling the handle at least 30-40 times, I was left with a whole onion that had been finely minced which would take me a lot longer if done with a knife - impressive! It can even handle hard items including nuts. Though you always get a few pieces that are a big larger than the rest, this is still extremely effective in chopping. The rubber ring at the bottom is very effective at anchoring the item to the worktop while you pull the handle. The whole unit is very easy to clean and the blades are extremely sharp so care must be taken when handling for cleaning. Considering this item has the Tefal brand, I would have expected the clear plastic container part to be slightly more study, though. I find myself incorporating onions for flavour into dishes a lot more than before because of the ease of chopping them with this device. There are cheaper options available in various physical stores that do the same thing and I can't yet comment on the durability of this product, as I know products like this tend to have the string wear out, but for now this seems like a very good item and one that I use regularly.

Dicers onion and garlic really well, have used it a few times now. Easy to clean.

I especially bought this product for onion and garlic chopping. It is still effective with half onion. I used tupperware before and its blades gone rust very quickly. I hope this lasts longer. Bad side is if you wash lid with washing machine, the string doesnt dries and the inside of the lid fills with water.

I’m very pleased with this useful gadget which I didn’t think I would use as much but in fact I use all the time to chop onion, garlic ,celery, carrots mushrooms etc and fruits. It’s easy to use and clean and cuts down the time spent cutting and preparing . A real game changer.

Very sharp blades and chops onions and garlic beautifully. A bit small so have to chop one onion at a time but its still worth it.

Reasonable price, good quality and perfect size for chopping vegetables. Purchased specifically for onions and it is perfect as it can fit an average onion if you cut it in 4 pieces. Easy and ergonomic handle.

One of the biggest helpers in the kitchen. Despite having all the bigger machines, etc, this one is the most practical and easy to clean tool when it comes to chopping onions or walnuts, etc. And quite sturdy. Despite being used almost every day for a few years now, it's still going strong, without any issues. The knives are still sharp and doing their job, the elastic rope is not ripped apart, everything is great!

J’ai acheté le petit contenant. Il est très pratique et léger, la taille est idéale pour moi et je trouve que ça augmente aussi l’efficacité de la coupe en empêchant que les légumes se coincent en dehors du champs des lames. (Au pire tu secoue un peu.) En plus il est moins cher que le grand donc top. Je l’ai acheté surtout pour émincer rapidement un oignon sans devoir verser de larmes et sans que mes mains sentent l’oignon. A voir sur le long terme si les lames restent assez aiguisées. Je ne le mettrait pas dans le lave vaisselle. Surtout que la corde, faudrait pas la tremper dans l’eau sinon difficile que ça sèche.

La picadora manual de Tefal funciona muy bien para su propósito. El conjunto incluye un recipiente de plástico transparente, una tapa con cuerda retráctil y unas cuchillas que se encajan entre la base y la tapa. Tirando de la cuerda se hace girar el sistema, y cuantas más veces se tira, más finamente se pican los alimentos. El resultado es muy bueno: corta con facilidad incluso verduras duras como cebolla o pimiento, dejando un picado fino y uniforme sin esfuerzo. Desde que la tengo, la he usado muchísimo y aguanta bien el paso del tiempo. Eso sí, hay un par de aspectos a tener en cuenta. El primero son precisamente las cuchillas: están muy afiladas (lógico, siendo un sistema manual), pero hay que extremar el cuidado al manipularlas o lavarlas, porque es fácil cortarse si no se presta atención. El segundo punto es la tapa. Al lavarla, puede entrar agua en la zona donde se enrolla la cuerda, y al no poder secarse del todo, queda humedad dentro. Yo lo soluciono dejando la cuerda estirada y fijándola con una pinza para que se seque al aire, aunque sería interesante que el propio diseño incorporase algún sistema para facilitar este secado. En resumen: es una picadora manual práctica, cómoda y muy eficaz para verduras y hortalizas, aunque con un par de detalles de uso y mantenimiento que conviene conocer.
