The colour, fragrance and thickness of the body butter is not same quality as that of last year purchase made from showroom. The colour is lighter, fragrance is very mild, thickness is very light. Moisturizing is comparatively less. I'm sure the quality is not same as old one. I loved the older version which was very much moisturizing.

This is the new packaging and new formulation . I do appreciate the new packaging and the effort to reduce its effect on our environment, but at the end of the day, it's what's inside that matters. The argan body butter is meant for dry skin and the older formula was definitely a great cream for dry and very dry skin . It was creamier, richer in texture and far more moisturising than the new formulation. It also had greater spreadability. Unfortunately, this new formulation feels more like paraffin, it's hard to spread even after warming the cream in your hands. It doesn't have much stretchability either so you land up using much more product. I don't find it as moisturising as the previous formulation. Not to mention the price too has increased. In my opinion, they should just get the old formula back (for Argan and Moringa) in production, because the other variants can do the job for normal skin types.

I got this body butter as a gift for my mother. Even though there are cheaper options from 'The Body Shop,' such as the Shea scent, I decided to get this one because it truly is my mother's favorite. She loves how thick it is - highly moisturizing for us people whose skin needs more hydration. The scent is also mild enough to be tolerable for sensitive noses, but luxurious enough to satisfy those who like scented lotion. This body butter definitely reminds me of someone who is classy, mature, and has great taste. This is also the large size, in case you were wondering, so it will last a while even if you're using it to cover your entire body every time. It usually lasts my mom half a year. The Argan scent is harder to find nowadays than in the past, I consider it a semi-rare find, so I would snatch it up when you see it. My mom's going to LOVE it!
