Great Water Bottle For Your Pet!
Lightweight, colorful, functional, this water bottle is a great doggie gift or buy one for your own pet! The bottle opens in two ways: To fill it, unscrew the main top, which you can also pour water into and use as a cup for drinking. The smaller cap unscrews to reveal a "floating ball" that when your pet's tongue touch it, it will push inward and release water...just enough to carefully disperse enough water to quench thirst. Repeated tries release more water w/o it spilling. Great idea for walks, rides in the car or just keep handy near you on the couch, if your dog might want a quick drink. Really makes a great dog-owner gift! And there's a spring-type fastener like one you would use for keys at the top of the bottle, so you can hang it.

Love this bigger bottle
I had one of the smaller ones and it got left on an airplane so had to get another one. I have another type and dont like it as much, it seems like he slops more water. This one drips a little but that is to be expected. He had no problem learning how to drink from it. I put ice in it with the water and the stainless steel seems to keep the water pretty cold. I like the larger size, the other one was a little bit to small for my large dog.

Best water bottle for your dog
Love the functionality of this water bottle. With the roller-ball type of spout, your dog can drink directly from the bottle without having to pour water out into a separate dish/container. This is the second one like this I've had, and they work great. Love the design on this one.

How to use it
This is a great product. You just have to learn how to use it. I have a very picky doodle who would rather die of thirst than drink from a water bottle, but he will drink from this if you do it right. I hold the bottle over my cupped hand. He then drinks from my hand and controls the flow of water by licking the ball in the opening of the bottle at the same time he is drinking from my cupped hand. He just did it on his own, naturally. The only issue I have with the bottle is that the lid does not keep the water from leaking out. So you have to have the bottle upright at all times, particularly when carrying it around.

Best Style to Take on Walks / Dog Park Days
Love this dog bottle design and get tons of compliments on it. Wish the lid were made from sturdier material as we have had an item like this previously that held up well for 2 years. After a lot of dropping due to the dog pulling / etc the lid finally started leaking on that older one so I bought this. Hoping to not drop this one as much! Do not hold by carabiner / string is my best advice to avoid dropping! Those will eventually wear out if you are carrying it that way. If your dog is used to drinking water a different way from a regular water bottle it will be harder for you to train them to use this, but if they are used to a 'hamster' style water bottle in a cage already they will be good to go. To train our dog originally we just push on the little ball bearing inside the lid to get water to fall out and eventually they figure it out!

disappointed
Pros: cute graphics. metal bottle; keeps water cold! CONS: 1. leaks! All the way full=leaks. Halfway full=leaks. A little bit full=leaks. Held at an angle=leaks. Held straight up&down=leaks. 2. very cheap plastic cap, don't try to screw it on tight as it will crack. 3. "Each bottle features a handy carry cord and carabineer hook for clipping to back packs or belt loops." Do not attempt to use the cord/carabineer to attach to anything, because what looks like chrome rings in the picture is actually cheap plastic. Hate the tie holding cap to bottle; the cap dangles in the dog's face while she's trying to drink unless you hold it AND the bottle...awkward.

Really meant for outdoor use!
This water bottle is of decent quality but is meant for outdoor use only (unless you don't mind water dripping on the floor.) As the dog drinks the water and pushes the roller ball back into the bottle, the water drips everywhere! As a result, its hard to have him drink in the car or at someone's home if he's thirsty. Additionally, you should anticipate a bit of a training period before your dog gets the hang of it...at least I had to "teach" my dog to drink from the bottle. The first few times he just sat there staring at it, it was actually quite funny!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. total waste of money
terribly designed. the water drips out as soon as it is placed upside down or at an angle. None of the dogs that i have tried it with (all different breeds) will drink from it as a consequence. the water drops on there nose, or face prior to drinking. freaks them out. total waste of money
