Absolutely top notch for brewing and serving both coffee and tea!
This has become my favorite of all my brewing equipment for more than one cup of coffee. It's faster than my pour over and because the coffee steeps, it uses less coffee than the pour over. Also, the reuseable mesh filter is easier to use than the paper filters for the pour over. It's also great for brewing tea. There's a filter so you can put the loose tea right in the pot if you're serving several people at one time. Or, to nurse the pot of tea for hours like I do, you can use the mesh filter and dispose of the tea leaves when brewing is complete. But, the real kicker to this carafe is it keeps beverages hot for hours, I just finished the pot I made eleven hours ago and it was still hot! It can also be used for cold brew coffee using cold water instead of hot and allowing the coffee to steep in the refrigerator over night. It also keeps beverages cold for hours on end. A great insulated carafe for brewing and serving both coffee and tea! And it looks great too.

Great Product
We LOVE our Hasting's Collective carafe. We have bought 2 because it work so well. Keeps the coffee hot and great aesthetic. Lots of compliments.

Good but not perfect
Pros 1. Looks good. 2. Good insulation. 3. Easy to use. 4. Easy to clean. 5. Convenient all-in-one solution for brewing, storing and serving coffee. Cons 1. Overpriced. For the price, the external plastic parts could have been replaced with steel. 2. The plastic filter is not long enough. You need to fill it at least two-thirds full to be able to steep the ground coffee. I got the Mysa because it has the smallest capacity and I usually brew coffee for 2. However, there are times I need only 2 or 3 cups (not gargantuan American-sized mugs) for myself, in which case I would fill the Mysa one-third to half full. But, this would not work with the Mysa as the plastic filter does not reach low enough into the carafe for me to be able to brew anything less than two-thirds of a carafe. I could of course brew my coffee elsewhere then pour it into the Mysa, but this just defeats the purpose of an all-in-one brewer/thermos/carafe. 3. The external plastic parts cheapen the look of this otherwise beautiful carafe. 4. The plastic bits will likely discolour/crack, with time. I see a few reviews stating it doesn't really keep coffee hot for long. I do not have this problem. My coffee stays hot for 2.5 hours. After that, it remains very warm up to the 4 hour mark. I have not kept my coffee longer than this. I do heat the inside of my carafe up with hot water prior to brewing and I brew almost a full carafe each time. These could be contributing factors. Overall it works well and is probably currently the best all-in-one coffee brewer/server/storage option in the market. Just wish it had all steel construction (externally) and a longer filter that reaches deeper into the carafe. That would make it a 5-star product for me.

Perfect; the exact amount my pour over kettle heats.
I love the sleek design and the high quality of the Hastings products, in that there is no plastic interacting with my coffee. We also own the larger pot that we use at our business. I especially love the fact that it won't break if I knock it against the side of the sink, and that it keeps the coffee hot for hours. I do have to use the Hario filter holder, as I don't relish the Hastings filter sitting inside the pot on this set-up where you have to reach into a hot pot to retrieve the hot filter and grounds. I'd advise a re-design for Hastings so that there's some kind of handle to pull out the filter without burning one's fingers. A lot of people, as we get older, loose touch sensitivity and don't always feel when our skin is getting burned. Also, the shape of the Hastings filter isn't ideal for pour-over. I use Chemex filters with the Hario filter-holder.

Excellent
you should be aware this is not a "thermos" In the sense that it's not a double walled vacuum glass bottle. We've had several of those and they're OK. The last one we got was poorly designed, in that you had to hold it at the very top and keep your finger on the trigger of the pourspout. This item looks sharp. If you prime it with some hot water, it keeps a coffee nearly hot for several hours. It pours well, it washes well. My wife likes it because you can put the sponge all the way down into the bottom and really clean. The cap goes on perfectly, I couldn't be happier. To pour you click in the button on the top and it stays in until you click it out.

Stylish & Practical
I absolutely love the Hastings Collective MYSA White Tea Pot (1.2L). It’s the perfect size for brewing several cups of tea at once, whether you’re enjoying a quiet moment alone or hosting a small tea party. The design is simple yet elegant, and it adds a nice touch to any table. The handle is comfortable to hold, and the spout pours smoothly without any drips. It’s a great everyday teapot that’s both functional and stylish. I’ve been using it daily, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

Best Coffee and Tea Maker
I adore this tool. Really pretty. Feels good to use. So simple for both tea and coffee making (directly in the unit in both instances). And I don't even do that pre-warm stage they recommend and it never gets cool for me. I do use it within a couple hours so don't know beyond that, but it stays piping hot! I even forget to pop the button back up when pouring and don't notice a cool down. They would make a lovely gift for coffee or tea lovers. I like my coffee steeped just like tea.

Was tired looking for a replacement lid for my teapot so thought I would give this a try. It’s AWESOME! I’m drinking a cup of tea that was made 7 hours ago! Preheat with boiling water first, then make your tea and it lasts for hours.

Doesn’t retain heat.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it but would make some minor changes: add a small collapsible handle to make removing the filter easier; keep the volume the same, but make it shorter and wider so that it is easier to get a large hand in to clean; and add a water level indicator on the outside of the carafe if possible. Everything else is fantastic and it keeps the coffee hot for hours.
