Bought this as a gift for a very "techy" friend that loves to camp. Not only did he love it but taught his kids how to use it too!

It is an accurate compass, free floating with no oil or water. I couldn't figure out if the sundial is functional but it's a great compass if nothing else. Even if the sundial doesn't work you can use the sundial arm as a means of sighting a distant object for navigation. Didn't come with a chain but it's not pictured with one anymore so no surprise. It's about the size of a standard pocket watch, fits nicely in the center of the palm of my hand. Very solidly built. Very pleased.

This is actually a pretty nice compass, but the chain is not as long as it looks. I bought the it because I thought my wife could use it as a unique necklace. The brass chain is too big to function as a bracelet but to small to function as a necklace. I'll be ordering a new brass bracelet to replace this one.

Es sieht auf den Bildern besser aus als das was man in den Händen hält, absolut Müll und billig gemacht, lässt sich sehr sehr schwer öffnen, Preis-Leistung absolut nicht mehr wie ein Stern obwohl ich keinen vergeben wollte bei diesem Produkt. Nicht zum empfehlen.
