Love thiswatch
Love this watch. This is the most practical watch I have ever owned!..and I have had many dozens of watches in my life. This watch just gets right to the point and DOES exactly what I Need a watch to DO and it does it much better then watches I have owned that I paid much more for in the past. This watch is Rugged, durable, Inexpensive, very easy to read... and being easy to read for me is one of the best things about this watch. I do not like watches were the numbers are pale or hard to see or the surface is so shiny you cant make it out unless you look close or have to move it around in certain light until you can see what it actually says. NOPE no fuss with that with this watch. You can just look and see exactly what you need right here right Now.... no fuss, no hassle and its simplified. Just has what I need. Front face > TIME big in bold > also day and date right there. Thats it on the first glance... not cluttered with useless info I don't need. Some watches add all kinds of stuff on the face that I dont need and that clutter makes it hard to see the stuff I do need. Not this watch..... this was gives me what I need a watch to give me on one quick glance Time, Day and Date. Also has an alarm that's easy to set and a stop watch that is easy to use and comes in handy. I love this watch and I think I will buy a couple more to give as gifts to people. Also this watch is rugged and well designed well and comfortable on my wrist. I like the way it looks too. I like this watch much more than watches I have spent 4 times the amount of money to purchase. This is a great buy.

Not what I was looking for, not bad for the price.
Obligatory warning, I type at half the speed of smell so I'm using talk to text. Please forgive any grammical errors as talk to text is notoriously defiant. On to the watch. For starters, it's not a bad watch bad watch. A bit larger than I was anticipating, but that just makes it easy to read in a hurry. The actual clock function is near spot on. I set the watch to the clock on my cell phone and so far it has yet to drop any time. The alarm is loud enough that it could wake me up from my usual nap on the couch, And the stopwatch is always a welcome feature. But I needed a watch that had a timer. This, is where this watch confuses me.The stopwatch has the regular start stopping reset I've been to reset, and it even has a button to keep track of your lap splits and lap times but no timer.. It has the ability to keep track of the month day and is there and day of the week (mon-sun) but no timer... For the price that this watch is normally, I bought it on sale, there is no excuse as to why it does not have a timer. I will be keeping it because it will still be good for when I go out on hikes or doing work around the house. But now I have to buy a second watch that actually has a timer. As a result, I'm knocking off a star.

Simple and easy to read workout watch
I use this watch purely for fitness/working out to times CrossFit style works and rest intervals. I am one of those odd people who love technology but haven't invested in an apple watch or other fitness watch. Due to this, my main use is the timer function. This watch is great! The size is good for readability and I like how the hour mark moves up to the right hand corner. The night time function is also quite bright but I rarely used it. I had the previously version of this watch too, and it failed when the band broke away from the face. They have reinforced that area on this version, so I don't think that will be an issue anymore. I am 6' 2", 225 with average size wrists and I go to the 4th notch on the band to secure it. If you have very thick/large wrists it may be an issue. I also wear this watch with the face on the inside of my wrist to help avoid pushing buttons while doing exercises. It works well for me and fits nicely. If you are looking for an easy to read, inexpensive workout watch, I highly recommend this one. I plan to get many years of use out of it.

Surprisingly great watch helped by a different band
I scoured Amazon and the internet for simple and easy-to-read watches, looking for certain features and reading reviews, which takes more time than one would like to calculate. If you want watches with bells and whistles there are millions. If you want a watch that someone with low vision and/or memory problems/dementia can read, not so many. It’s sad when you get right down to it, but I expect it’s because those not needing exotic interfaces just use their cell phone to check the time. Dad’s watch broke, so I needed to replace it. He’s 87 with diminishing eyesight, memory problems, ad encroaching dementia. Dad has 4 or 5 clocks in his room, but can’t handle not having a watch on top of all the clocks and an over-sized timer that can break your eardrums. (When we moved him out of his house, he had so many clocks it wasn’t funny, often more than one on a surface.) All I wanted was a clearly readable time, plus the date and day of the week in a hopefully reliable watch. I narrowed my search down to three watches that varied in cost from $13 to $70. We leaned toward digital because I read that as their memory got worse, people often become unable to understand the analog clock face and benefit from just having the actual time in digits. Of these three watches, two are outstanding, and one is good if the person’s vision is still good enough. I expect that all will require us to set the time if it should need changing for any reason. I’m giving Dad all three, although the first two in the list were immediate hits. Here are the watches and why I chose them: Reizen Low-Vision Ana-Digit Atomic Watch - Leather Band Pros – Very easy to read analog face, atomic so it will keep itself set, digital day and date that will adjust itself correctly, battery-operated so doesn’t need winding. Dad thought it was absolutely beautiful. Cons – leather band that someone with impaired coordination can’t put on. We replaced the band with a silver and gold stainless steel twist-a-flex/expansion band. The day/date display could be larger. The directions are absolutely horrid. We’ll have to do any adjustments, as it takes us a bit to get some of it figured out. And trying to get the second hand to stop precisely on the 12, as required by some steps. Yeah, good luck with that! Men's Digital Sports Watch LED Screen Large Face Military Watches and Waterproof Casual Luminous Stopwatch Alarm Simple Army Watch - Black Pros – The first thing Dad said about this watch was that he could read it without squinting. And he’s right, just a beautiful clear bright display. Easy enough to set. Cheap; if this watch breaks easily, I could get one a month for Dad without stressing. Surprisingly enough, Dad – who’s rather conservative – may actually like this watch more than the Reizen, even though the Reizen is more attractive. I think it’s that the time is just so incredibly easy to read. Cons – Plastic band that someone with impaired coordination can’t put on and that will make some folks’ arms sweat. We replaced the band with a black stainless steel twist-a-flex/expansion band. That changed the looks of the watch immensely. It went from a plain huge hunk of plastic to a cool military type watch. So win/win for another $8 or so. Timex Men's T78587 Classic Digital Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Expansion Band Watch Pros – exactly the type of interface we wanted. Simple display with date, day, and time. All digital. So far so good. The bright display background makes digits more visible, plus there’s a light. It came with a twist-a-flex/expandable metal band making it easy to put on, unlike the others which came with latched bands. Cons – the display/digits are smaller than optimum. This watch can’t be read easily by a person with low vision. That said, Dad can read it with a bit of squinting. It’s sad, because otherwise this would be the perfect watch for Dad, but the smaller display makes this the lesser of the three watches. So far, Dad likes it the least. We bought twist-a-flex/expandable metal bands at Walmart and also ordered Gilden Gents Expansion 17-22mm Black Stainless Steel Watch Band 552-B-3 on Amazon. A slip-on watch is a must for those with diminished coordination. Overall, we like all three watches and would buy them all again with the caveats above. We’re leaving all three with Dad so he can rotate through them to see which one he likes the best or just to change what he’s wearing, since he’s always loved watches. Should any watch not perform up to expectations, I will amend this review.

Indestructible watch with weak band
It’s a good watch but the durability lacks in the actual band. It’s broken but the watch has remained functional after years. I use it as a clock in my shower and even after the band broke years ago this watch just keeps ticking. It’s also able to survive the steam of the shower for months. As long as you don’t break the band it’s never gonna break. It’s pretty big and thick and weighs a lot. It’s an outdoors watch, not a stylish one.

Very nice quality
Very nice quality. I've been wearing this watch for a few months now and it still works. Even the glow-in-the-dark screen is very nice.
