I bought myself the 18oz bottle in the Blush color a while back and absolutely loved it. When my friend asked what she could buy me for my birthday I said a larger size. So now I have the 32 ounce also.Not only are they pretty but they are wonderful at keeping ice and/or ice water for at least 36 hours. I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t attest to the heat retention. Other similar bottles that I’ve had in the past I’ve had to buy a silicone boot for the bottom (so no clanging or beating up the bottle). But this Takeya bottle comes with its own matching boot.I suffer from chronic nausea and vomiting. Here lies the problem: my bedroom (where I am 90% of time) is on 2nd floor, the kitchen with the ice maker is on the 1st floor. That’s where these wonderful Takeya bottles come in. I fill the 32 oz bottle completely full of ice. I fill the 18oz with about half to 3/4 of ice, then fill it with water. Now I can sip from the 18 oz bottle and as it empties I refill it with the melting ice from 32 oz bottle that is super cold. These 2 bottles provide me with ice water for over 2 days until I can hopefully make it down to the kitchen again. Not really an ideal situation but at least I know if I’m able to drink, I will have cold water at my bedside.If you are on the fence about buying a bottle, I highly recommend these.

I have a problem, and that problem is buying water bottles...I own at least 30, lots of random brands plus all the best brands Hydro Flask, Yeti, BKR & Corkcicle to name a few. Even with SO many water bottles I kept buying... Call me Goldilocks, because they just were never quite right (too big, too small, weird cap, broke, etc.), that is until this water bottle, the Takeya 18! I saw my friend have it in the 24 ounce size, initially I thought, "you don't need another freakin' water bottle", but after asking her about it she raved that it was the best water bottle she has ever owned. I thought NO WAY, I just got a Hydro Flask & that that was "the best". BUT, I kept thinking about that dang water bottle so I ordered not one, but two...one in the 18 & one in the 24, both with the spout cap. Seriously, I have maybe written 3 reviews in my entire life, I can barely believe I'm writing a review about a water bottle, but these babies are different! I wanted one that was small to keep on my desk, and I typically go for the straw type lid, but this spout is SO great & super leak proof. I love that it stays clean under the spout cap & nothing you put your mouth on is exposed to the world at all times like my straw or other sipping water bottles. I also love that I can fill up my water bottle without even taking off the cap, that's an added perk that might not work for everyone depending on where you fill it up. Just love it all, the handle, the bumper, all the colors they offer... If you're looking for the best bottle get this one. I'm keeping the 24 ounce too (I know, I have a problem, but I can admit it). Everyone I know is getting this water bottle for Christmas!

This is the best water bottle I’ve used, and I lose (and have to by a new) water bottle 2-3 times a year on average, so I’ve used dozens in my lifetime and this one is the best. No strange nooks that are difficult to clean, no complicated straw system that gets nasty with time or doesn’t suction correctly, the water doesn't adopt that gross plasticky/musty/bacterial taste and it’s not an absurd price for what it is. It’s durable, it keeps my water cold forever, the colors are very beautiful (I have the light pink) and the loop is actually a comfortable size and shape so I can still grab onto it with a couple of fingers while I have an arm full of other stuff. At this point it’s like a natural extension of my limb. The only inconvenience is that the rubber coaster thing on the bottom comes off and can get stuck in cup holders, but I’m grateful that it comes off so I can properly clean it. It also doesn’t have a suction hole (anyone citing that as an inconvenience has forgotten how to drink out of a cup) which is great because it NEVER leaks, but it does have a tendency to *glug* when you drink out of it which my friends think is funny but it doesn’t bother me at all. I imagine I’ll only be buying (and losing and rebuying) this make and model indefinitely. I’m already on my second.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this bottle because it keeps the water cool for a long time. However the lid doesn’t seem to last. I bought 2 of the 18oz bottles for my twins, the black and the pink. Been using it for a couple of weeks and now the pink one is starting to leak from its lid, and it is twisted closed tightly.Update as of 8/27/2019I change it to 4 stars. After 12 days and a few tries to contact the customer service, they finally responded (eventhough the 1st auto response was that they will contact me back within 3/5 days), they provided a free rubber ring replacement for the lid, came to find out the one I bought actually came without the rubber ring and hence the leak. So hopefully after the rubber ring arrives it will solve the problem.
