I purchased the stick, & giving unbiased review. The stick is pure aluminium, i measured the weight -- 270 gram which is the most lightest & very comfortable to lift, strong enough to handle about 100 kg weight. Giving 5* rating I am 5 ft 9 inch height -- then the 5 th notch hole from top is found to be ideal selection so that - the stick top handle is in exact alignment with the wrist of the hand - mean the hand is at 20 to 25 degree when walking with best comfortable. First loosen the threaded round ñut little, then press and bring the button up and down till the stick top handle align with the hand wrist. Then tighten the round threaded nut. *If you want to use stick for long time -- DO NOT keep adjusting the height by loosening & tightening the nut frequently. Because the thread of the nut will go unserviceable. If at all any shaking problem come anytime later it will be in the threaded round nut area only - put a thick clear tape around the threaded nut area, the shaking will vanish. Once the height is adjusted according to a person comfortable, tighten the round threaded nut. Since it is a 2 piece item, naturally it will slightly shake at the joint of round nut, any item with a joint will shake is natural. Just put a clear tape around 2 inch of the nut joint. The stick will never shake at all.

I purchased this for my 80+ year old father. He found the other walkers too heavy and didn't feel comfortable with the ones that have 4 legs. This one was just right, it is strong yet light which works for his thin frame. It is height adjustable and the rubbery tip gives enough grip even on tiled surfaces. My father is happy with it and uses it all the time now. If it is for a heavy set person, you may want to trial it first to see if they feel comfortable with its lightness. Overall a good and reliable product for seniors.
