Bob Ross - Landscape Brush Set, Oil Based Painting Tools, 12 pieces

Excellent brushes but over priced in my opinion

After watching Bob Ross on BBC4, I think I was like a lot of people and thought, "I can do that." So I bought some cheap brushes, oil paints and all the paraphernalia that you need to do a Bob Ross wet on wet painting. With a decent easel it cost about three hundred and fifty quid to set up. My first attempt wasn't bad, not good but not awful. The second attempt was worse than the first, my mountains resembled Sydney Opera house. The brushes I was using just weren't doing the job, I couldn't get the effects I wanted. I decided to purchase the set of Bob Ross brushes to see if these would make a difference and actually, they did. Ok I still need lots of practise but when it comes to using the brushes to do the leaves on tree like Bob does, I was far more successful. The blending brush made such a difference to my sky though upon washing it afterwards it does look a little bit warped, I'm hoping it will still blend ok. Although the brushes are more expensive than others I found them worth purchasing to get the effects I wanted. The picture I have downloaded is my third attempt and I've not painted before in oils, it's not brilliant but I'm getting there with the new brushes. Would recommend if you are serious in taking painting up as a hobby.

I used this product for the wet on wet method. All in the set did what was expected with no problems, and good value for the money.

Absolutely made up with this brush set. Yes, it is a bit pricey but well worth it for the ease of blending and having the joy of painting.

Good quality brushes , so happy with that. The presentation is poor , all contents put in a grey plastic bag..could have been presented better I feel they are overpriced, Although good quality .

Wer gerne malt und Bob Ross kennt, versucht seine Art kreativ zu sein, zu kopieren. Dazu brauchts einfach die richtigen Werkzeuge, nicht nur Farbe und Inspiration auch die richtigen Pinsel helfen gewaltig dabei. Nur wo kaufen, und jetzt kommt Amazon ins Spiel. Gesehen und gefunden, bestellt und bezahlt und geliefert!! Wunderbar und razfaz geliefert und auch die richtige Qualität und auch der Preis stimmte. Super Service, Danke

This is fantastic, it is almost impossible to get real bristle brushes, if I use paint thinners to clean the ordinary brushes the glue holding them in fails and the bristles fall out. This does not happen with these fantastic brushes. Thank you

A artists is only as good as his tools. Just used these and they’re great. Worth the money. High quality, easy to clean and every brush feels good in the hand and does its job. If only I could paint better but that’s the fun of it. Recommend.
