Money well spent
Love this pot. Heavy duty, never burns on the bottom. As a home canner Ive put it thru its paces and it keeps going.

Huge Capacity and Excellent Quality Stockpot
As an avid home chef, I'm always looking for high-quality cookware that can handle large batch cooking. This 12 quart stockpot from Cook N Home definitely fits the bill! I've been really impressed by its performance. The size is absolutely massive with a 12 quart capacity. I've used it for big batches of soups, stews, stocks, boiling pasta, and more. It's big enough to can tomatoes or make huge vats of sauce. Yet the overall stockpot is still a manageable size and weight when full. The stainless steel construction feels extremely sturdy and durable. It has an attractive high polished mirror finish. I also really like the thick aluminum disc layered in the bottom which provides excellent heat conduction and prevents hot spots. The pot heats up quickly and evenly thanks to the tri-ply stainless/aluminum/stainless body. It works great on all cooking surfaces including induction cooktops. I've even used it in the oven without issues since it's oven safe. The snug-fitting vented glass lid is a nice bonus to lock in heat and moisture. The loop handles are designed to stay cool which is helpful when pulling the heavy pot on and off the stovetop. I still use potholders out of habit. My only minor complaint is the pot itself can get a bit heavy when full of liquid or food. But that's to be expected for a stockpot this size. Cleaning is easy - foods don't stick too badly and a little Bar Keeper's Friend keeps the exterior shiny. It's also dishwasher safe which is convenient for such a large pot. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this Cook N Home stockpot! The quality, size and performance are excellent for the price. If you need a big, sturdy stockpot for larger quantity cooking, I highly recommend giving this one a look.

Wonderful
This is a great-size stockpot for sauce and canning season. The height is perfect—less than 10 inches tall—which is exactly what I was looking for since my microwave is a bit low. The silicone handles are a really nice touch and are heat-proof. Overall, this is a very nice pan and I’ll love having it during canning time.

Great Sauce Pot
This sauce pot is just as described and is heavy and sturdy. The glass lid is nice as well and the steam vent hole is just what I wanted. A very good product.

Great Pot, Handles Need More Rubber
Review of the 20-qt. pot: Having purchased this at a very reasonable price, I was concerned that the quality would perhaps not be good. I needn't have been. This is a very sturdy, very nice pot for anyone who cooks huge amounts of food or wants a pot that will do waterbath canning nicely. It is heavy and solid, but not so heavy that it is hard to manage. That is empty. Because it is so big, once you have very much food or water in it, it will be quite heavy. Which brings up the only negative I have. The rubber part on the lid handle is too short. I've burned myself a bit by grabbing too far down on the lid and grabbing hold of the very hot metal. I think the same could be said for the rubber on the handles of the pot itself, but having learned from just grabbing the lid, I was very careful where I put my hands when grabbing the handles of the pot. I don't need a 5-gallon pot to cook food, but it is a great size for canning. I read some of the questions and answers, concerned that it might not work with my ceramic-top stove, but several people have tried it without problems so I gave it a shot, and didn't have any issues. It did take quite a long time to heat the water to boiling, but I think that is more an issue of my stove and the amount of water I was heating. Because I boiled very hard tap water in this, I do have some hard water spots in the pot. I probably could figure out a way to get them off without using scouring powder, which should not be used on this, but they are cosmetic only, so don't bother me. If the handles were a little more protective, this would be a 5-star pot, but even as it is, I am very pleased with it.

Surprising quality
I just received this pot to replace a decades old pot that finally gave up. One of the reasons I purchased this pot was based on previous reviews that praised it’s quality for the price. I have to agree, this pot seems well crafted. Tight riveting, quality vented glass lid. I like that this top fits into the pot rather then over the pot like most other pans. This pot is slightly narrower and slightly taller then my original pot (both 5 qt) which is great because it is a better fit on my gas stove. The base is pretty thick. The pot has a nice heft to it giving it a feel of quality without being to heavy. The base rests well on my cast iron grates and resists sliding when carefully stirring contents, so by way of pots, the bottom isn’t slippery. Which I like. The handles are well attached. The rubber grips resist heat but don’t eliminate it. I carefully poured boiling water from pot to sink (kill the fruit flies) without using oven mitts. It was warm but certainly not like the red hot handles I was used to. Which is good, no actually it’s great! Nevertheless, I’ll continue to use oven mitts (mostly). So as to longevity, my old pot was about 20+ years old. That’s hard to beat. I’ll likely never know if this pot will last as long but first impressions are very good. Based on decades of cooking experience I highly recommend this pot. Have fun with it.

Works great on induction stovetop
I gave away my Calphalon stockpot because it was too heavy. And that was before I had my induction stovetop. I’ve been looking for a replacement - something that will work with induction and is lightweight and easy to clean. This fills the bill - plus the price is right!
