Gardening Plants Cattails HO Scale Hobby Train Sceneries

I bought these for my son's 4-H farm scene project. They looked perfect in the stream he made. We are very satisfied.

I wanted these cattails to use for miniature basing. They were exactly what I wanted and worked perfectly for the swampy look I was trying to achieve. They don't have flat bottoms, so I needed to trim them to so they would sit flat. On one of them, I trimmed a little too high up and cut the glue that was holding the cattail together but was able to reglue it.

I got these to decorate my bases for Warhammer 40k and these in HO scale are perfect. The right amount of detail and easily bendable when needed. I would still suggest using some spray varnish to help harden for rigidity/strengthening of the pedals and to protect the cattail itself from unwinding. Good variation in the height as well; they did not look or feel like they had a predetermined assembly line height that helped make the models feel even more alive.

I totally dislike this product.It is not the sellers fault. It is the fault of JTT the manufacture.They say the probuct is HO Scale. But when you put a HO Scale figure next to the cattails the plant is taller than the figure.
