Put it gently on the face. You can apply slight pressure on the forehead. Please don't apply any pressure on the cheeks. If you feel that your skin is too oily first clean your face with a little amount of face wash using your fingertips and then put some face wash on the brush heads and then place it on the face.

Does a decent enough job. All 3 scrubbers work as intended and not too harsh/abrasive on the face. However, this is not a water resistant product. Water leaks into the battery compartment and a little corrosion occurred. I was able to clean it up and continue using it, but wipe it dry after every use and stored in a dry place.
