I needed this.

I haven't reported the orchids yet, but thought this Espoma mix contained ingredients that would improve the orchids that I bought on sale at Publix months ago. In the past I used orchid bark, but I found it an odd medium, and made a mess it a cat 🐈 knocked a pot over. I look forward to trying this orchid medium later today!

This brand was recommended to me by a good friend with a few very happy and healthy orchids. The bark has both larger chunks and smaller bits which, I think, mimic the natural environment of the orchid, making the roots happy. Since I repotted my phalaenopsis, he's been doing well! No complaints, so far.

Item was fine but shipping was slow. Not received when needed.

I like orchids very much and have very good luck with them. I use the plastic slotted planters which allow very good drainage and air flow. It is so important to let them breathe. I put the orchid in the planter and then use the orchid filler to fill the planter. Then I water the whole thing to make sure the orchid mixture has soaked u water. Voila!! Then wait for beautiful blooms.

I've used this for years, and I recently ordered 3 more bags. The bark was all shredded, like pulled pork. Not the usual chunky pieces of bark. I was hoping the first bag was maybe random and was the last bag to be filled and I got all the leftover mess, BUT all 3 bags had shredded bark, which doesn't work for me and my aroid mix. I don't know what's been going on but the quality of this mix has gone downhill the past few years. Not as much bark as it used to have, it has more fine 'dust' of the mix.

Just as described. Definitely needs to soak before using and after potting the orchid the pot needs re-soaking the next day as the bark initially is very dry and needs a good rehydration.

Le produit est bon en soi. Mon orchidée est content avec 11 fleurs, il s’est bien épanoui, (bon j’apporte les autres soins importants aussi) mais quand je compare avec d’autres marques, c’est trop cher. Heureusement que j’ai pu tirer ma leçon avec le terreau pour orchidée, avant d’acheter ceux pour cactus et violettes. belle qualité, mais trop cher pour la quantité.
