Columbia Men's Flex ROC Pant

These are the perfect pants for casual wear. I bought them to wear for a plain clothes security detail and they work perfect with a blazer. Just ordered my 3rd pair. A little pricey, but the fit and style can’t be beat.

Snug fit, but comfy. They hold up well over time.

I purchased these specifically for the zipper pocket to protect valuables against nefarious actors while vacationing in larger and crowded cities. The 34’s fit perfectly and the 35’s are just as comfy — with more than enough room to tuck in heavy shirts in colder weather.

I tried a few pairs of Columbia’s ROC pants in black and khaki in 34, 35, and 36 sizes. These are good pants and a solid choice if you can overlook some drawbacks:(1) The velcro closures on the side and back pockets are very small. It’s a challenge to line them up to close securely. Velcro closures on a pant at this price point are an odd design choice to begin with, but then to make them so tiny seems like a “bean counter” choice as well. Buttons or zippers on the pockets would have looked better and been more functional.(2) The fabric holds dirt, lint, and pet hair. Other reviewers have mentioned this as well. If you own pets that shed, do not under any circumstances order black.Otherwise, these are just fine. Swap out the velcro for a nicer alternative and tighten the weave a bit, and they would be darn near perfect.

These pants are awesome!!! They are extremely durable but very breathable and plenty of unrestricted movement. I’ve had 13 pairs already. Color stays well, I’m speaking to the past ones I’ve had, I haven’t compared my older ones to this and if the same material was used in these. However, I still choose to give five stars.If you are a moderate to low expert and/or above, this product is not for you!!!!If you are a random car/truck camper and you are new; these pants are amazing for the price.Great work pants too, and they have actually amazed me.Bottom line, they are great pants!

I bought these pants for hiking. The color is great. I don't really care for cargo pockets, so these pants made sense. The little knife pocket is pretty handy. But the most important things for me are comfort and durability. I'm pretty tough on clothes when I'm outdoors, and these have held up great. I frequently toss a ruck on and do a few miles on local trails. I have taken a knee in these plenty and even slipped a few times. They have been great. They performed well on the trail and clean up easily. Great buy!

These pants fit true to size. I like that they are almost 100% cotton, however the material is very thin. Holding them up to the light, one can see through the material. The seat is a bit baggy, and the legs are wide and baggy as well, enough to flap in the wind. Construction quality seems ok, and the color is nice. I won't be wearing these in colder weather. There is definitely room for improvement here.

Initially bought these for travel, but they are so comfortable that I'm wearing them to my office. Not really a dress pant, but appropriate for all casual occasions. Feel like they'll last awhile.
