Set of 2 Extra Extra Large Size Leche Flan Molder/Llanera 7¾ x 5½ x 2¼

I bought these to make flan in. I didn't realize just how light and thin these trays were going to be. I'm sure they will work just fine tho. Can't wait to try them out

The pans work fine for making flan. However, they are made of recycled metal cans. They are very thin metal. I don't expect them to last very long, but I could be wrong. If they do break, I would recommend just buying them at an Asian market.

Have already had it repaired once and out of the 3 sets every set has leaked first use, even putting water into it and setting on countertop the water leaks , not ideal for cooking.. because of the leaks the food sticks to the pans every time and doesn't come out easily

Baked custard mixture in a Bain Marie. Custard was flawless - no leaks. no bubbles.

Seams were not very tight. Mixture leaked out

These are thin and works for the purpose of leche flan. But they are welded with recycled medal. Not sure how safe it is. The bottoms of the medal seems to be from a Vick’s vapor rub container and it dyed my bamboo steamer :( .
