It fixed my problem, 1994 GMC Sonoma
For years I've dealt with my truck only having airflow at the defrost blowing on the windshield. No matter what setting I put the air on, it only came out at the windshield. Now this truck is 29 years old, lots of things no longer work, like the A/C or the light at the vanity mirror (which I cut the wire on because it would not turn off anymore and had drained and destroyed a nearly new battery and who needs a light on the vanity mirror?) and I usually drive with the windows down anyway, but it bothered me that I knew this had to be an easy fix. I checked out some youtube videos and narrowed it down to this part or something way more involved that required a smoke machine and tearing out the dashboard which I am not doing because I'm a 5'2" woman and the one time I removed the door panel to replace the side mirror I learned my brain is stronger than my arms and I lacked the strength to remove everything much less get it all back together, I'd live with the defrost setting because on a nearly 30 year old truck I'm not spending a lot of money on it and it drives, I'm happy for that much. It's not a daily driver. I had to have my husband remove the old part, because the vacuum tubes on it were really on there good and again my brawn is not as powerful as my brain, I knew what needed to be done, I just needed someone else's muscle to do it. So it got switched out and nothing changed...but this is a vacuum issue, it's not an immediate fix, you have to give it time to get cleared out and being to vacuum the way it is supposed to. So maybe in the 3rd trip out with the truck, I tried moving the vent flow around and behold it now comes out at the dash and not windshield unless I actually have it on defrost. So this part fixed my problem and for the price is was well worth it.

Vacuum check valve
OEM so it fit right and worked the first time. Used it on a C5 Corvette vacuum system.

Works but quality is lacking
The valve fits and works fine, but the quality is lacking. The vacuum hose ports have sharp edges and should have been cleaned up from the factory.

GM part that works as designed versus the aftermarket part that did not.
I had a major vacuum leak causing a code 44 on my 1987 Chevy V-10 pick up truck (factory TBI system). The truck was running rough at idle and RPM was going up and down. The 37 year old valve had disintegrated and split in 2 parts causing a massive vacuum leak. Short on time, I bought an aftermarket replacement valve that the local auto parts counter gave me that did not hold the vacuum (internally) from day one. When I shut down the truck, I could hear the aftermarket valve leaking down which shouldn't be happening. I installed the GM AC Delco part in about 60 seconds and performed a test start on the truck. Smooth idle and running like a top again. After I shut down the truck, I didn't hear any hissing or sound from the valve which IMO means the vacuum system is working as designed.

Tengo solo un dia con el producto y fue realmente facil remplazar el deposito de vacio de mi AC en mi ford van e-150 2011. Esperemos dure un buen tiempo y de no ser asi el precio es justo para volver a reemplazar la valvula.
