Began researching tops for my son's 03 Wrangler after he asked for a new one for his graduation gift. I read dozens of reviews before finding out that a collegue at work had installed one of these on his own Jeep. I found one on Amazon Warehouse Deals for under $300 and ordered. Everything I read indicated this would take about an hour to install, and for me and my son that was an understatement. It took more like 3 hours, but we had to measure and drill holes for the bar that allows for the top to be folded back above the front seats. It did contain everything needed to install using the factory header bar, door frames, and tailgate bar. The installation itself was not difficult, just time consuming. Once we got the main top installed, we did find the side and rear windows difficult to zip in because of how tight the top fits. I will say that once it's on...IT'S ON!! Its a lot tighter than a frame top and cuts the road noise down by about half! Now that its had time to settle to his Jeep the windows can be removed and re-installed much easier, and when the windows are out, it's very similar to having a bikini top. This is a very cool and versatile top that is made from quality materials, and my son absolutely loves it! For the record, it replaced a BestTop frame top, and my son says after having this one he will never go back to a frame top.

Product is of very high quality materials, with very strong zippers. After watching the YouTube videos installation was a breeze. I installed in about 70 degree weather and had absolutely no problems. Make sure you have all of the required parts. the Header, Door Surrounds, and tailgate bar. Those should be on your jeep already or you will need to order separately. Installation is a breeze and it is a perfect fit. Oh and it looks awesome. Will be updating soon as time passes. ********************UPDATE 3/21/19******************* Well, it’s been almost 3 months and I must say that I’m in love with this soft top. Not a single stitch has come apart, still looking great and I truly enjoy being able to fold it open when I want some fresh air. This one I can tell will last me for a long time and I will repurchase when the time comes for a replacement.

Overall a pretty good top, far better than factory. When it comes to installing it's a tight fit and can be very difficult to get on even with help but after a week of having it on and letting it settle its a piece of cake. It's still a soft top so its noisy at highway speed and doesn't do a great job at isolating sound inside the Jeep either. I've had mine since the beginning of October of last year it's currently mid January and the top had held up well with no conserns. Opening the top above the front seats is super easy and only takes about a minute which is super convenient for a good Sunday drive or coming home from work. I can't speak too much for temperature control since my window is slightly askew and let's air in but it seems to keep the heat from my AC in.

For how much it costs, it's pretty awesome. Completely water proof and easy to install, take off, and reinstall. It does not come with a cross arc bar for the front to prevent water puddles and they are near impossible to find. I also can not tie the middle of it down on my 2004 Wrangler through the soundbar because it wasn't designed for the 03-06 soundbar. It's fairly quiet also and I'm truly enjoying it with my ac for the hot, rainy months in Florida.

Better quality than prior tops and even some older OEM tops. Installed on a 2004 TJ rubicon and used our 2000 TJ door panels. Fairly easy install with my husband and I after letting the panels sit in the hot sun for about an hour before install. Total install time was about 2 hours. You do have to tug and stretch a bit but it’s not bad. These pics were taken immediately after install so we expect the small wrinkles will smooth out in the sun/heat. No complaints though. Excellent fit and finish overall. See close ups for door panels and roof. Now we don’t have to worry about the pop up showers this summer! Don’t hesitate to buy this!

Purchased this to replace the original frameless TJ soft top (Rock Gear) that lasted for over 10 years until one of the zippers started to break. I thought I'd try this top because of the flip back sunroof feature. My Jeep didn't come with a soft top, and the old Rock Gear top I had didn't have door surrounds or the right windshield channel so I had to order those as well. In theory, the Pavement Ends top would be a pretty great top, and once I put it all together (after visiting the store to buy screws that weren't included) and installed it we went out in the Jeep one evening to try it out. First thing I noticed was how much the top flaps when the sunroof section is closed! This thing is really noisy because of the flapping! We tried it out with the sunroof section folded open and thought it was pretty groovy. As we were driving with it, my wife noticed that you could see light through some of the stitching on the roof section, and when it rained the next day we had a leak already on a two day old top! I really wanted to like this top, but I ended up returning this and bought the Rampage frameless top from Amazon (they purchased the Rock Gear design) and have been much more happy with that top - even though it doesn't have the novelty sunroof feature.

I got one about 5 years ago and it is about worn out now. Seams tearing as the stitching wearing out, the back window is impossible to see out of, the top is shrinking and it is impossible to re-zip the zippers and it’s got a hole in the top. So, what to do? Get a new one! It is the most functional top I have had for the Jeep, the fast back type is easier to use than the original with the struts, you can fold back the front part for open driving very easily. The sides and back come off easily. It is very quiet and looks great. I wouldn’t get any other top except the bestop primo if I could afford it, so the pavement ends top is perfect for me. Highly recommend.

First impressions: Love it. Its easy to install. I have pretty good expierence fixing things and it took two of us about 2 hours to install. Its really compact and light. Feels durable. Has about the same amount wind noise on the highway as compared to the OEM soft top. I will put an update in a month. Update: Its been clearly more than a month, but its still on and working great!

La instalación fué sencilla. Queda perfecto. Es muy conveniente la forma en que se quita el techo medio para dias calurosos. La lona se siente mas ligera comparado con otras marcas pero hasta ahorita no ha habido problema.

Bueno, pues Amazon se porto excelente con su servicio al cliente, quiero decir que me cambiaron el toldo y esta vez llego completo, respecto al producto quiero decir que se ve genial en mi jeep, quedo perfecto, fue muy fácil de instalar y no entra nada de agua, de verdad por el precio esta súper este toldo. Primero tardo 2 días más el envió y después me llego incompleto, hacen falta piezas por lo menos 3 y no trae instrucciones de instalación. Ya que manden el reemplazo que tarda aproximadamente 10 días más, actualizo la reseña.

Nice fit! Very good quality, pretty tight... I installed it at 20oC, so my fingers hurt! Took me 2 hours and I was alone. I took a vernier to place the flip top’s brackets. No pockets for back and side windows compared to other brand (-1 star because of that). But the flip-top device is amazing.

Exactly what I was expecting. Came super fast, perfect fit. Only been on one drive with it on but seems to be holding up. If there are anything changes I'll update but so far perfect product. Took 2 hours to put on with 2 people. My guess is would take closer to 4 if doing it alone.
