EMIYA 36 Pistol Crossbow Arrows 50-80 Lb

Cheap and decent! No, these are not high quality hunting bolts. They are cheap plastic jobbers, with molded on fins that are part of the shaft and a decent target tip.. BUT they are very accurate, relatively tough and great fun. For less than five dollars for 36 of them, we're not talking major money here. Think of them as the equivalent of plinking with a .22 rifle. The tips are sharp, and yes, they may come off. But nothing a bit of superglue can't fix. I shoot outdoors, and if I miss a shot and lose a bolt, this inexpensive bolts mean I don't waste a lot of time trying to find it. If what you want is an inexpensive and surprisingly accurate way to sight in your pistol crossbow, or just something to target practice with, these are just about perfect. The molded fins work very well and don't tend to shear off if you get them all the way into the target. The metal tips are tough and work well until they come off. And I already mentioned the accuracy. Sure they could be made better, with a screw on tip and such. But that would be reflected in a higher price. For what they are, they are just about perfect and deserve a five star rating!

These are cheap but perfectly usable arrows. I use them with an 80 lbs pistol crossbow and they shoot straight which is all i was looking for. This is my second batch of these arrows and they hold up okay. I would guess 10% snap when they hit a target (anything from frozen pumpkins to trees), Another 10% will either lose the metal tip or it will get lodged in wood, they are easy to glue back on with no noticeable performance loss. The other 80% are good to shoot again if you can find them, but they are cheap enough I don't get bent out of shape if I don't. I try to keep a bunch of these around since they are so fun to shoot. I will keep buying more. J

They are lighter than other types of bolts, fly really well. Color helps to track them in flight better. If you shoot them are hard targets, you will have an increased chance of the bolt coming apart (they are all plastic with a glued-on metal tip). They are really accurate and fly true. If you are shooting into a regular archery fabric/carpet target, these will last you a long time, with the occasional dislodge tip you would have to super glue back on. At this cost point I take it that they will break and get lost. It's a consumable item, and will be replaced sooner or later. Well worth buying. Durability for a bolt is lower than most, but its very good for the cost.

I love these cheap little arrows for shooting in my back yard. Pretty durable, but sometimes the tip does pop out. I've found a little super glue and you can use them again. That said, if you shoot them into something hard, like wood, your chances of pulling the arrow out in one piece is slim; the tip buries itself in pretty deep. Even though these are lighter, they pack a punch and certainly could be used for small game/ rodents. I use them with my 80lb crossbow, and save the much more expensive aluminium ones for....well, I haven't found a use for those just yet.

they should add "one time use" to the packaging. If you shoot anything other than Styrofoam, dirt or a mattress the tips come off and the shafts break. I lost a few tips in a wooden fence I was using as a backstop. There is no notch just a flattened end with sharp corners. I chamfered the sharp corners where the notch should be and they were a lot better. Before finding this out they knocked my string and it started to unravel.

They bolts are by far the best ones I have ever own. For the price you can't beat the sheer amount you get with these. The tips pop off if stuck in a hard surface, but if you super glue them back on they will never come off again. They rarely break and when or if they do it is usually the fin snapping off. Another good thing about these are when they hit they flex causing less stress on them that makes them break. Overall if you want a deal and a robust arrow also, then get these.
