Yoga is not just any physical activity, it's more than that, and the books briefly touches upon the philosophical aspects and some important details before starting with any asana, and that's important. The book then starts with asanas and every asana is explained with step by step instructions and pictures. With every asana author specifies the benefits, how to breathe, duration and also what not to be done, which is equally important. This is a complete book, comes from one of the legendary Yoga gurus. Book is not bulky, I purchased a paperback edition, it's not heavy and easy to carry.
