Not sure of factory size wire, but I believe it's a 10ga wire recommend for this pump,

Q: Can the hellcat 525 lph pump be used with a boost-a-pump module to increase the flow under boost?

Yes many have done it. The wiring is ok for 18v but at 20v and higher the wiring will burn. I recommend a wiring kit for the pump other than stock wires. Look for a nice everything included wiring kit to be offered with this pump in about two weeks. Please feel free to ask any more questions.
