I bought the white 25 lb therapy sand. I’m a therapist with adults and kids and a therapy dog in office. It was important to me to have high quality sand! I bought this tub at Walmart and it is the perfect amount of sand where it doesn’t easily go over the edges of the container. When I opened the bag I dumped it all into a 5 gallon bucket and rinsed the sand. Then popped it into this tub with a couple heat lamps. After a couple days of this it was dry and ready to go! The sand is super easy to clean up if it spills out since the grain size is not too small. It doesn’t create dust in the air at all!!! Even when sifting it. This sand will last a long time and seems to be very durable. The kids and adults love it! They have so much fun and find it to be super calming. It was easy to pour into this container and makes transporting it easy as well. Overall in terms of price, quality, and amount this is the best choice on here! It’s also really pretty with the black and shimmery bits.

It's clean. And has a nice sparkle to it. Soft when dry if you add some water the kids can make sand castles.

High quality sand that sparkles. The kids love it. It isn't as soft as the previous sand I used in my sand tray, but the kids don't seem to care about that.

First off, this is very fine Therapy Sand. Wish the reviews were all for this but because Sandtastic has another type, some comments are for the other type. This sand cannot be molded. If it gets wet it could be smooshed flat & an impression could be made but not molded for sand castles. Plus, went wet it sticks to ur hands ALOT & is more messy than play sand due to the make up of it. When it first arrived I put in a small plastic pool for my Grandkids to play with in the house for a little summer feel in the cold Midwest Winter months. Bought because it was advertised as no dust. It is VERY DUSTY! I’ve had to rinse the sand which is very time consuming & heavy. That’s why one star. I did purchase another 25lb & in the process of rinsing it as well. The first box hasn’t dried completely yet & it’s been several days. Hope to have it all done by the time the Grands come over. Hope it does the trick because they absolutely Love playing with it. It’s fun for them to pour into different containers & also to bury their toys in.

I am using this sand in a sand tray for therapy. The sand itself is great; it’s a nice color and it’s fine, but not too fine. I was disappointed in the packaging, though. The box arrived badly damaged and the bag that the sand is in, which is inside the box, is not thick or sturdy at all. It very quickly tore while I was trying to simply move it out of the box, spilling sand all over my living room. With better packaging, I would have given 5 stars.

I was worried about this sand bc different reviews said the sand was pretty fine and it was getting in their children’s eyes. So this version is supposed to be a larger grain than the bright white version but still very small and white with glitter - if the other sand is smaller than this definitely don’t buy it bc that means it’s powder. My son plays with it just fine and it clumps when wet. However if there is any slight wind, it does become airborne when he plays with it. Another reviewer recommend spraying the send and that helped tremendously, just enough to weight it down. I used a small spray bottle and it worked perfectly

I just used this sand for the first time for a sandtray therapy session, and the clients LOVE it! It is white, but still beachy-looking. And the little glittery bits add a sparkle that beach sand can't offer. A little dusty and has small bits of black (plant material, maybe?) in it. I recommend washing and drying before using.

This is white sand that was perfect for the bottom of my mason jar centerpieces. I was looking for white rather than brown sand and this was perfect!
