Oktoberfest Edelweiss pin
What is a great addition for Oktoberfest. I got more compliments then I can recall. Had a vintage look about. It went well with my Civil War era military vest.

It is what it is, nothing more ,nothing less.
It is a little on the light side, really didn't know what to expect. It is fine no sharp edges, it is the traditional two piece construction. It went on my hat easily, is secure, all ready for family gatherings and, Octoberfest.

Lovely, but...
Lovely, but huge, thick prongs on the back make it a destroyer of fabrics. Removing them is not easy.

Pretty and well made
I I put it on my Oktoberfest hat and it looks nice. I learned later that this pin was worn by a German regiment in WWII that committed a bunch of war crimes which kinda makes me want to wear it less.
