There are multiple listings for these, which makes it near impossible to figure out what’s what. The measurements are hard to locate and pictures that make the clip look bigger in one listing but still has the same measurements as other listings. It’s all rather confusing and annoying. For this one, the first measurement listed reads that one of the measurements is 6 1/2 inches. I think that’s actually the cardboard the clip is attached to! These clips are about 3 inches, end to end across the longest part. From the center of the “arc” to the bottom is about an inch. These should work quite well—if you don’t have a lot of hair. If your goal is (like mine) to clip up thick, heavy hair, it’s just not large enough. I didn’t remove them from the packaging, so I can only say what I saw and could feel through the plastic. These are very sturdy, solid and well constructed. They’re not going to break easily and even with regular use I’d expect them to last several years.

I have bought several different brands of these metal claw clips. Of all of them I have tried these are definitely nicer than most. They don't feel thin or cheap. However, even though I do like them, they are really small and not sure they are worth the price. If you have long, thick, curly hair, you might want to reconsider buying these.

These hair clips are exactly what I was looking for! They’re super cute, feel like good quality, and do a great job holding my hair in place. They don't slip or feel flimsy, and they’ve held up really well so far. I’ll definitely be buying more.

I love these clips! I have medium long, very fine, straight hair and they are just the right size to hold all of my hair. Unlike with plastic claw clips, I don’t have to take these out and redo my hair multiple times a day from slippage. They are strong and hold my style in place all day without feeling heavy (I was worried about weight with them being metal) or like they’re uncomfortably sticking into my scalp. Best purchase I’ve made in a while and I find myself using them daily.

I have very thick and long hair. These clips are rugged and cute. Just be careful as some metal detectors don't like them in the airport. Still a favorite.
