Update: wire them fishing on multiple occasions now. While they are polarized, I was able to see through the surface better with my more expensive pair. Also, these have a weird orange hue to them, which is weird since I bought the blue lenses, but I adjusted to it. Value=10 Fit=10 Polarization=5 Quality=6 For the money you can't go wrong, if you are less worried about money...you could do better. I have worn Oakley's or Costa for the past 20 years. This is the first time I have bought a sub $100 pair of sunglasses, but welcome to the new economy, decided to feed my kids instead of dropping $150+ on the other brands. Now .. these are not $150 pair of glasses, anyone who says they are as good are full of it, never owned a pair, or bought their pair from a shady street vendor. With that out of the way... They do look the part, better than I expected. Super light weight, not sure about durability. But for the price, I honestly might be converted if they hold up decently well. For the price I can buy 3-5 more pairs, so even if they are destroyed after a year I am coming out ahead. I have a few fishing trips coming up, im I will update after using them on the water. I bought the matte black with blue lenses.... Look nice, not mirrored

Bought the Skidaway and Hiawasee's to see which I liked best, decided to keep both even though each pair has a couple issues. My experience is based on 5 days in the Pacific Ocean off Monterey Marine Preserve, very sunny, lots of reflective glare, 67F ambient, 52F water temp. Skidaway w/Ice Blue lens Unfortunate the lens is not available in the darker cobalt blue, the Ice Blue is a bit light for being on open ocean all day. The glasses are light, fairly comfortable, the lenses could be 1/4"/10mm taller for a little more coverage. Salt water immediately left spots on the lens and required a dip in fresh water to clean. Hiawasee w/Cobalt Blue lens The darker Cobalt Blue lenses were superior on open ocean with bright sun and glare. The wrap around design did block more light but also fogged at times during heavy work. Again light weight, same salt water spotting issue, but one other annoyment - the extra long temples would hit my under side of my hat when our zodiac hit waves causing the glasses to pivot then lift off my nose bridge. Without a hat they would be fine and top of my ears would be burnt to a crisp. I will keep both pairs as they are good, just not the best I've ever owned, These will become spares as lord knows I constantly lose, damage, or totally break my sunglasses while in the field.

These are very good for the price point. Nice case and sleeve to put glasses in to protect them. Happy customer!!

I bought these Skidaway glasses a little while back and had been really impressed with them. So much so that I had been thinking about purchasing another pair but I had just not made a decision yet. Well!! We are on vacation at the beach and today was the first day we were in the ocean and playing in the water. I had my glasses on and had just came out of the water when I grabbed my towel to dry my glasses off. To my shock... when I started drying my lenses off, everywhere there was water... it literally stripped the finish off of the lenses. As you can see in the pics... everywhere there were water beads on my glasses, there is now clear spots showing thru my lenses. I was not happy!!! To pay the price for these glasses and now this.... my old Walmart shades never did this!! I will have to say.... I was very happy with these shades until I stepped into the saltwater. So.... if you wanna good pair of shades that are good quality and fit, these are great - JUST DO NOT GO TO THE BEACH WITH THEM AND GET INTO THE OCEAN WATER!!

These glasses are great. I am not the best when it comes to taking care of my sunglasses. After losing a few pairs of extremely expensive glasses I switched to buying ultra cheap ones that you find at gas stations, Walmart and the local drug stores. They were awful. I suffered all last summer just buying one pair after another. I decided to purchase a medium priced pair. I bought my first pair of Kastking and tried the out today. It was a very bright sunny day. We went out on the boat and I love them. Very light weight feel and very comfortable. I had my cheap dollar store pair on first and it was still may to bright. Then I put on the Kastking and it was night and day. Perfectly blocked out all the glare while able to see extremely clear. I just got off the lake and ordered a pair with the brown lenses and I bought the wife a pair. I would highly recommend Kastking. I hope I don’t lose them but if I do, they are priced well so I can buy another pair. Say goodbye to the $12 and $400 glasses.
