Bought this for a 30 gallon aquarium. It works exactly as described. We were quite impressed. It seems to be excellent quality and sticks to the glass. No problem. We use it every few days.

Bought 3 of these for my 3 acrylic mini tanks and they work like a charm. Clean up any algae thoroughly as soon as I see any. I leave it in my tanks hidden in the back. I can imagine algae will likely try to grow on them as well and I will take them out for a scrub when I do my water changes. If you don't want to leave it in your larger tanks there is a nifty little hole to loop a string on in case it gets loose to the bottom of your tank. Just lower the outer magnet down on the string and retrieve it as it snaps back on. 100% will purchase this if I get any more tanks.

I love this tank cleaner. I have an acrylic bow front tank which can make cleaning it with a wand difficult. This makes it easy to scrub back and forth with the powerful magnetic scrubber. The magnet holds well and I just leave it attached in the tank when not in use. I would buy this again, and that is the downfall of this product. I purchased this because of the manufacturers claim that you don’t need to buy a whole new cleaner and you can purchase new clip on scrubbers. You get one scrubber for glass and one for acrylic with the tool. Unfortunately I was not able to source these replacements scrubbers at our big box pet store or Amazon (even with help from an Amazon associate). You need to get them from the manufacturer from what I have found. That said, it is still a great cleaner at a great value. My first one lasted over three years before the scrubber lost efficiency.

Straightforward glass cleaner for the tank. Great quality, effective at what it does. It’s not too big, and works well In my nano 3g tank. good value for the money. 10/10

Having been in the aquatic hobby for nearly 30 years, I can tell you that a good algae scraper is worth its weight. This one does the job. It has both glass and acrylic pads that can clean off the algae. I only have 2 complaints. First is that the magnet appears to be a little weak to keep the unit together when you have the tougher spots to clean. Second is that the inside unit does not float, so when it inevitably falls to the bottom of the tank, you can't retrieve it with the exterior magnet. Now your hand is all wet, thus defeating the purpose of the magnetic cleaner all together. It cleans the algae, but a couple quality of life improvements could have earned it a 5 star!

Bought the medium version which is ideal for 10mm glass. Cleans the glass well and, so far, it hasn't become detached from the outside magnet. It's quite hard work though! The only problem, which is minor, is that the inside magnet tends to vibrate or oscillate as it travels, unless you move extremely slowly. This sets up small pressure waves through the water, enough to make the heater elements wobble when you're in the vicinity, and it freaks the fish out a bit, but only while it's going on. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with it.

I needed something that would help me easily clean my aquarium as it's over 2' deep and my pleco weren't keeping up. Looked around and this seemed to be the best product for its price. Good size and powerful magnet(watch your fingers). Used it on a 120G tank with 1/3" glass and worked great! Glass pad was needed as the blue acrylic pad was too soft. Takes a few swipes to clear thicker algae but not at all a hassle. Very easy to turn corners and switch sides. Haven't had any issues with the magnets detaching either.
