My daughter - Sara was rewarded with this present for doing housework (she is 5 years old). she was so excited to get the dough set. When a child molds with play dough, the experience is always positive. Much better content and quality than I was expecting. Here are the points of this Barber Clay Play Dough Kit. 1, Cute idea and my son loves the hair coming out. Put play dough in the toy the base on and push down, there are more than 10 accessories including brushes, shavers, mirror and scissors, and so on for great role-playing and endless fun. But the tube might be a bit difficult to push for young kids. 2, The clay it has no container but good quality, the doh has not any smell, Sara plays as a hairstylist for hours. 3, Nice package. Sara can take it everywhere (but you need to buy more clay) we have the play-doh dough. it worked brilliantly! My advice: Could really for with some suction pads at the base then I would buy another one! Anyway, Highly recommend :) Bet the girl who’s gonna get it will love it :)

This is a great gift that didn't break the bank. I bought this for my daughter for a gift. She has loved playing with the Play Dough and pushing it through the heads of the people in the set. Then she cuts their hair and starts all over again. This is perfect for an aspiring hair dresser. Everything also fits very neatly into the case that the playset comes with.

I like the idea of having hairstylist and everything stores in the case but every time you play with it you need to put it together for your child and to squeeze the play dough through the figure for hair the kids can’t do it you have to it is too hard for my 4 year old to push the play dough through.

My Granddaughter just turned 4 and really likes this, although she cannot push the playdoh through the holes in their heads to make the hair. I have to do it for her, and it is VERY hard for me as well. The playdoh that comes with the set is useless. No containers, and very little amounts, so used other that we already had. The case keeps it all contained, however ours is hard to close. In fact can only get one latch closed, but it stays shut. Overall it wasnt expensive and our Granddaughter asks to play with it often, but she needs an adult to help actually make the "hair" come out so she can cut and style it.

This product is a $25 pile of junk. Cheap plastic. Scissors fell apart right away. The little plastic figures are impossible to push down for hair growing. I can barely do it let alone my 3 year old.

This is a very nice playdough set. Everything you need is inside the carrying case. When you open the case you can find all the shapes you need is inside the box ready to play. My son is having lots of fun when the hair comes out from the head. It is a really good role playing toy.

Bought this because I thought everything would stay in the storage case it came with but it’s very difficult to play with. Everything falls of when little hands come close to the extras and you have to disassemble everything to store it away. The toy is fun but has to be played outside of the case. Gets very messy.

I would recommend using a softer Play-Doh such as Play-Doh Plus for the "hair" function. Regular Play-Doh is firmer and it is not easy to push through the "hair" growing function. The softer product works great for that!
