It fits between the dishwasher tines and they are beautiful and STURDY!
2 inches. Most cereal bowls are not 2 inches high. They are much more. But I love putting our cereal bowls , one next to the other, stacked in the dishwasher. However, most bowls are too high. These are not only perfect, they are some of the most beautiful melamine bowls I have seen. They are weighty. Surprisingly. I thought at first they made a mistake and sent me ceramic bowls! The pattern is beautiful and they stack wonderfully. I highly recommend!

Thick and sturdy bowls. Beautiful painted inside. Glossy finish. The white outside is kinda ugly but I got these as cat dishes so that works great!
