Q: The bow sits really high in the holder, does it hold a bow firmly without putting it in the mesh pocket?

The mesh pocket goes all the way down to the bottom of the backpack. Personally, I wouldn’t strap my bow in to the backpack without putting it in the mesh pocket. It doesn’t make my bow stick out any higher either.

Q: Whats the difference between this pack and the multi weapon pack?

It is perfect for bow hunters. Keeps a bow safer to me.
