Door County Coffee, Highlander Grogg, Wholebean, 10oz Bag

Smooth and rich, with caramel and Irish cream vibes that made me briefly consider proposing to my mug. It played surprisingly well with my unholy trinity of cream, sugar, and milk. I’m on a noble quest for truly great coffee—not the everyday Starbucks or Dunkin’ stuff, but the kind of brew that makes you rethink your life choices in a good way.

I received one of the two bags I ordered. The other bag contained a different flavor of coffee. Both bags were packaged identically, except for the name of the coffee and its flavor. Both were delicious.

I have been a Highlander Grogg lover for 30 years. I appreciate the smooth qualities of Door County’s version. While I prefer butterscotch & rum flavors in my grogg, this is a nice blend.

The flavors are distinct and very good. I am enjoying them.

Initial scent and flavor was good, but the flavors are not infused well enough and dissipated quickly after transferring to a sealed crock; halfway through the bag, the coffee is flavorless. I prefer the Berre Brothers version of Highlander Grogg.
