PanOxyl Acne Creamy Wash, 4% Benzoyl Peroxide (Pack of 2)

This wash works very well, my acne has mostly cleared up! I can not use it on a daily basis though since it is very drying. I use it two to three times a week and I am very happy with the results. The only complaint I have is that it takes a lot of rinsing to completely remove. I could still feel it on my face when I applied moisturizer. I also noticed that it bleached my towels which I am not at all happy about. So beware, make sure you rinse extremely thorough, and then rinse again!

I have really oily skin. Oily as in: my-foundation-must-be-reapplied-every-2 hours-oily. Finally I've found a cleanser that actually helps with my acne/oily skin! For years I was using typical drugstore cleansers that weren't doing anything other than removing my makeup when I used them at night. This wash actually helped get rid of my acne (including tough back acne) and there is a really noticeable difference in the oiliness of my skin during the day. It was a little drying at first, but after a week or two I can use the wash twice a day and its definitely had an impact on how long I can go without having to wipe off and reapply my smearing foundation. Just make sure you actually rub it around on your face/back for a full 30 seconds-1 minute (its a pain I know, but it really seems to have an impact on the effectiveness).

This face wash was recommended to my Son by a dermatologist . He has some facial acne, and previous washes with higher doses of benzoil peroxide made his skin very dry. This product works well on the acne without the dryness. When the tube is squeezed a small amount comes out at a time, enough for one wash. This helps in my wasting any and helps make it economical. The product arrives well packaged. This is my third purchase of this product.

I like this product that my dermatologist recommended. It cleanses well and not drying.

My son's dermatologist recommended this body wash for him and it works very well. Happy to find this on Amazon as it's a much better value than buying it at CVS, Walgreens, etc.

This was prescribed (OTC) my my teenager's dermatologist to supplement his prescription meds and washes. I could not find the 4% milder version of this product anywhere. All the area drugstores and merchants carry the 10%, which the doctor said would be far too strong. My son is on his fourth order of this and it seems to be helping clear his acne.

This product at 4% is a great help for young adult acne. Received product in a very timely manner at reasonable price.

Dermatologist recommended this as part of an acne treatment regimen. However, my teenager who has very sensitive skin ended up with bright red blotches in the acne affected areas which looked extremely scary. Her entire face was itchy even in areas where the panoxyl was not applied and kept on for 1 to 2 minutes. I feel the 4% peroxide is too much for very sensitive skin. Perhaps a lower strength would be more tolerant for this skin type.
