The dark wood look is very nice. I can literally feel better circulation on my scalp after using this myself. This product is pretty much a steal considering it even comes with it's own cleaning tools. I also really love the fact that this doesn't really collect much dust. The pouch is especially useful for people like us who tend to take trips away from home. My husband tends to use essential oils on his hair- so if that's something you do avoid leaving those oils all over the brush as it does lift the dark color out.
