Best purchase of the year. This purse is very well made. I have used it daily on the go and just got home from a trip and it was wonderful.My laptop fits in this bag and carries easy with the added weight.There is nothing bad I can say about this bag. There are plenty of compartments to separate the things I need access to right away like my phone and pocket book which go in the back outside pocket for safety and easy access.I would recommend this purse for daily use and for travel.

This was a third attempt to find "the right" leather backpack for daily use. It was staring to feel like a bad episode of Goldilocks and the three bears. The first to big and stiff. The second to small with deceitful dimensions. The third - just right! This bag is heavy but that is due to real leather and quality hardware. Yes you can smell leather if you put your nose near it. The outer finish appears water resistant but does not feel like vinyl though rather shiny. The dimensions held true. Very impressed with capacity. The depth of the real pocket held a 6"x 3" phone upright and zipped closed. The three small interior pockets were deeper than expected - two of which zip. The front pocket zips as well as being covered by the clasp. The side pockets zip and are good for keys and smaller items. There are times in the week I need a bag that will hold a 11.5"x 9.5" hard pocket folder, five subject spiral notebook, and a 8.5" x 5.5"x 3" bible and close. This bag holds that plus the umbrella, travel mug and the miscellaneous things stuffed in all the pockets like phone, wallet, keys, phone charger etc. The substance of this bag can handle the weight of the packing as the leather is thick and stitching appears durable. The back straps are secured under a separate piece of leather as is the carry handle and the back of the straps are covered in a woven material making them more comfortable than plain leather. Time will tell of overall endurance yet at this point a long term relationship looks promising.Having looked at other bags and returning two I was seriously impressed with this one and hope to remain impressed. If my opinion changes this review will certainly be updated. Here I will add an opinion on Amazon returns. Took both returns to a drop location and my money was refunded to my account in two hours or less. That is impressive!

This backpack is beautiful and really well made - which makes it quite heavy. Unfortunately, the outside pockets are too small and not very functional though.

Singapore, Australia, Tokyo, SF, NY- this bag has been around the world and holds everything I need.Fabulous organization and pockets. Sturdy build.I pack this bag to the brim, recommend neoprene luggage handles for shoulder padding. I had this in my cart for a while but waited a while to buy. Happy I did and wish I bought sooner! All of the positive reviews are spot on - the quality of this bag feels much better than some of my luxury bags I paid hundreds of dollars for. Love the smell of the leather and there are tons of pockets. Gives me 90s vibes too I love it. I’ll likely buy the brown one as well and even contemplating getting another black one to store for a later time if I wear the current one out.

I wanted to say that I LOVE this backpack purse. It's quality made and sturdy leather. I wanted to be free of lugging a purse over my shoulders. I purposely bought this for my trip abroad so I didn't have to carry much in my hands. Since I constantly have my cell phone in one hand and food/drink in another. While traveling I generally take my MacBook air laptop with me. It fit perfectly in my purse. I've heard horror stories of "losing" technology in your suitcases. There are so many pockets everywhere in this purse. While going through the subway system I was able to get my subway card out of the side pocket without taking off the back pack. This was VERY convenient. I like the design of the purse, not to flashy, functional and keeps valuables and passport secure in certain pockets. During my travels to place to place I would buy quite a bit of souvenirs...they all fit in my purse...by the end of the day I would dump them out and stuff them in my suitcase. Then I would do it all over again the next day. I would highly recommend this backpack purse for everyday use and especially for traveling.
