​Review of the Carbon Shield Case ​I like this case a lot. It is very slim and stylish. I don't see the point of putting a bulky case on such a thin phone, adding unnecessary weight. I also like that it has no front cover; from my previous experience, the front part scratches the phone and falls off easily. It also limits the experience when using the front screen. I also installed the anti-reflecting film that was included with the case which is a great feature. While I'm enjoying the case for daily use, I do share the concerns mentioned in other reviews. I'm not confident that it would provide enough protection against a serious drop. Also, the price feels a bit too high.

The case isn't worth the buy. It easily get damage and it can't protect the back because it can't take dame and I only had it for a month now. It's best you buy a full body case

Reliable product

Updated Jan 2026 - So 6 months later, I had to replace the screen protector. I still think it's great, but having been through lots of travel, lots gym bags, scratches do show up on this a bit more than non-anti-glare screen protectors since it's literally taking off that anti-glare layer so I ended up with a scratches that are brighter than the screen itself. It did take 6 months for it show enough to bother me, so I'd say that's a fairly good performance and durability to me. Thankfully, it did come with two pieces so I was ready. I ordered another set for when I have to do it again. Pity that Samsung.com actually has better pricing for it than Amazon the 2nd time around so I ordered from there instead. Original review - 6/2025 Having experienced the anti-glare coating of the S25, I found this basically fills that glaring (pun intended) lack of this feature on the Z Fold 7. The application process is fairly good and aligns the protector properly along all edges. Yes, it does initially leaves a line across the middle of the screen, but it disappears within a couple of days, one day for me. The anti-glare properties of this protector is amazing without adding the frosting affects of many other generic anti-glare films. It keeps the glossy finish and doesn't reduce light transmission of the screen so you don't feel like you're sacrificing the beautiful qualify of the screen to get the anti-glare affect. Keep in mind that this protect covers the glass much further towards the edge of the glass, so many cases may not work with this. I had to modify my clear Elago case (with a Dremel) to avoid lifting at the corner edges. A reasonable compromise for me, but YMMV.

I like this! It looks nice and fits well the only thing is that I wish it was little stronger and not so flimsy.

The case did not offer full-body protection (only the back), but it was easy to put on and off. It was soft to the touch and did not add any bulk to the phone. I loved the gray color against the blue of the phone. It seemed durable, but again, just didn’t add any protection for the front half of the phone.

It's not glass, but it feels like glass. Installation was relatively easy. The anti-glare from the S24 Ultra is what I miss the most. This screen protector brings that great feature. I purchased Zagg tempered glass doesn't not compare in terms of anti glare coating. once you enjoy the glare-free life, you can't go back. Highly recommended!

This was very poorly designed overall. It causes the phone to be 10 times harder to “unfold” because the case sits in a way that causes a bit of an overlap, so unless you have longer fingernails opening the device is a nightmare. The kick stand; again, is totally flush and it unfortunately produces the same issue so if you don’t have longer fingernails it’s incredibly difficult to open. The case should have an accompanying silicone frame that goes over the main screen so that both sides are flush which would have allowed opening the device to be so much easier because you’d have a grip on both screens as you unfold the phone. Also, the kick stand really needed a dip/dimple to allow opening it way easier. This overall just feels like an expensive, incomplete product. It was easy to install, it fits snuggly and secure , the color is nice and doesn’t produce finger smudges but its functionality is very poor.
