All materials in the box are manufactured with high quality; no crappy cards that peel or separate after a couple of uses. Instructions are easy and accessible. Game lends itself to higher simplicity for beginners and greater complexity for veterans. High replay value. Does require a reasonable amount of table space, but certainly no more than one would need for a game of Magic: The Gathering (and not remotely as much as for games like Gloomhaven or Axis and Allies.) Average game length tracks predictions on box. My experience has been a pleasant mix of randomness and strategy, such that victory is not guaranteed based on one player knowing the game better than the other, but better strategy makes victory much more likely. I have only played as a two-player game, but it seems like it would be equally good as a four-player game.

Innovation is a GREAT card game. Work your way through ten "ages", vying to end up with the most points or hit the target number of achievements. Pretty easily to learn and all cards (no game boards or pieces needed). And it's one of those games where you can be last in the game and make a legitimate run for first if you play your cards right, even in the 10th (last) age.

My favorite card game, Everytime you play it's a different way to win

At two players, this is the best head to head card game of all time. No two games are the same, and every hand is a Swiss army knife of moves and counter moves.
