It works pretty well. I’ve used it to wash my jewelry (rings and necklaces), and it did a good job on those too. Handy little machine to have around.

Ya this thing is trash ! Apparently you can't get it wet ? So how are you supposed to use it . It fried it's self on the third use ? Won't buy this again and suggest you don't either.

The Nrgyon Multi-functional Ultrasonic Cleaner for dental Retainers/Dentures/Aligners is a small compact unit. It came with a basket insert and plastic tweezers. There is a fairly well written manual for the ultrasonic cleaner and there are several cautions about the use noted in it which is good. The ultrasonic unit has an LED readout for the modes/time above the node and power buttons. It has 8 cleaning modes that include several vibration settings and a UV light. The modes run on a time basis. The UV light turns on via a button on top but shuts off if the lid is open—you do not want to have that light shine in your eye. There is an opening on the lid covered but silicone flaps, supposedly so you can stick the tweezers in the unit while it is running, perhaps to add something, remove something or to move something about while it is running. The basket has a central piece so it makes the usable soaking/cleaning space smaller that if it was just a basket. The ultrasonic cleaner, when used in its timed modes, 6 minutes or 10 minutes, is fairly quiet and does not get hot. The liquid did not seem to get get hot after extended use and testing. The ultrasonic cleaner can be used for various non-dental items if you want. However, I plan to use it for doing a sanitizing clean of my night guard and do not anticipate using it to clean metal items like necklaces or rings.

I recently bought one of these ultrasonic cleaners for my retainers and told my grandmother how useful it has been, so I'm going to give it to her for cleaning her dentures and it will make her life much easier! No noice at all and has the perfect shape

I'm unsure how to rate this product. The cleaner runs, but I don't see any vibration in the water that indicates that the unit is actually working. The retainers come out the same color as I put them in. Therefore, there is no indication that any cleaning is taking place.

I was excited to use this for my mouth guard, which never feels clean no matter how much I wash it. After using this machine, it still was yellow and had a weird chemical smell. It also doesn't do anything for my silver jewelry.

Since I never owned one, I wasn't sure what to expect. For someone who never used a product like this, I found the directions to be incomplete. A newbie may need a few more instructions on how to get it to what you want done. I got as far as a blue light, some jiggling noises in the pot and the best I could do on time was 3 minutes. That may be why everything I put in it, didn't look or feel any different. At first I thought the 3 minutes was just a warm-up time. I tried it several times. Still with the same results. It's small, compact, good for travel.
