Fairtex Competition Shin Guards

This is my first ever pair of shin guards. I bought a pair from Windy last week and i thought they were a bit heavy and the sizing was a bit off, they were smaller than expected. But what i disliked the most was 2 minutes after trying them on, my ankles were painful and red, expecially when i was standing. Which was why i had to search for another pair and found these ones! These Fairtex shin guards seem perfect. Tried them on, light, good amount of padding, sizing chart was accurate, and no pain whatsoever.

These Fairtex SP5 shin guards offer excellent protection while still feeling lightweight and comfortable. The padding is thick enough to absorb hard kicks, and the curved design fits the leg naturally without shifting during training. I ordered these to replace a set of slip on RDX shin protectors, that while they serve a purpose if you have tree trunk legs and thrown insanely hard kicks, the RDX protectors outright suck, unless your goal is pure shin conditioning! Pretty sure the foam for the impact surface on the Fairtex ones are twice as thick and considerably denser. The quality is fantastic, it really does feel like a handmade item with high quality, yet at what I would call an economical price for protective gear. It is the Fairtex Syntek Leather, so faux leather; however after many hard kicks into my heavy bag I can't even see a visible scuff on my white shin pads, yet somehow there are white scuffs on my heavy bag! For context I was kicking my bag with these covering a potato sized green and black bruise on my shin that hurt to touch and I couldn't feel a thing. Only gripe is with my tree trunk legs the lower velcro strap is about 1 inch too short for my comfort, it hooks and holds but it could be a smidge longer. I'm 6 foot tall and ordered a medium using their sizing, which medium was basically my exact numbers and they fit like a glove.

Laut unserem Sohn ein voller Erfolg. Er hat sich das Equipment zu Weihnachten gewünscht und kannte bereits die Firma und die Marke. Alles so wie gesehen und bestellt. Stolzer Preis, - aber es war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk auf Wunsch an den wir uns gehalten haben.-
