I used this umami paste for soups, spaghetti, and dishes that have a tomato base. It evens out acidity. It takes those dishes up a level in my opinion. It’s my second time purchasing it and I will keep buying it if the quality continues.

I’ve been using this umami paste for many years. It’s a blend of sun-dried tomato paste, parmesan, and some anchovy if I remember right. It adds a richness and fullness to the sauce that shifts it from being more acidic to more savory. Highly recommended in pasta sauce, chili, tacos, etc.

I love the flavor but I am still learning the desired proportions to use, as you won't find it in any recipes. This is similar to other additives I use... i.e. anchovy paste, Marmite.

After trying to find this at several stores locally, I finally found it and bought it on amazon. It's a great base for so many recipes and the squeeze tube makes it super convenient to use. I will always have this in my pantry from now on. It adds great dimension and a nice savory flavor to so many dishes. So glad that amazon has it available on the site so I don't have to keep hunting for it in stores!

i add this magic to slow cooker roast beef or chicken. slow cooking can make these meats rather bland, but putting little dabs of umami bomb 5 really kicks up the meat and the gravy!
