its exactly what i says, 4 GB RAM sticks. after dropping them into my HP m8200n i saw a noticeable MASSIVE performance increase, but then again these are the highest rated RAM available for my motherboard and what i had in was that cheap factory crap they put in. if you have an older computer, these will definitely help you get a lot more out of it
