Excellent pencils colors at a surprising price. The colors are smooth and vibrant. I chose the 48 colour set as it was the only set which had Oily pencils in its description, and it did not disappoint. The blending and shading is really good. While I am not a professional, but I feel this set can easily be enjoyed by beginners to intermidiate artists. The only limitation I found was that the 48 color set has only one proper shade of pink, which is midtone. There is a lot of variety, especially in blue, green, reds, purple, violets. Browns & yellows are also good. Skin tone is limited but manageable. Some variations can be created by mixing in red, crimson, magenta and white pencil. But its difficult to paint in light pink. As someone who loves to paint flowers, I definitely miss the pink. Still giving it 5 stars because the quality is very good. Also it unexpectedly combines well with watercolors, which is a plus as it can be used in mixed media based work, which is something I was looking for. Overall, it's a great coloring set.

These pencils are lovely, especially if you’re upgrading from more basic colour pencils. The price feels right, even though I debated a lot with myself whether it’s worth spending so much on a hobby. But trust me, I don’t regret it. The experience of laying down colour so easily with the lightest of pressure is amazing, and layering and blending works like a dream. They don’t seem to break easily even when you press down hard to burnish. Colours look vibrant and smooth. Really good for beginners and hobbyists, and possibly more advanced artists too. Some of the colours don’t always match the barrel but most of them do. I wish the whole pencil was coloured rather than just at the bottom.
