I have been taking this supplement since 2002, after losing my ovaries & plunging into menopause. Initially I took a Rx HRT for 1 1/2 yrs, but the monthlies never stopped. I found this to be the most balanced natural phytoestrogen. For me it took about 3 weeks for the hot flashes to subside, & that was only half the dose of this double strength (40mg). Of course now I'm way past the hot flashes, but every time I try to stop taking it, I notice an emotional change (similar to PMS). I just plain old feel better taking it. Hope this helps someone.

I was lacking quality of life and pushing away my younger kids every time they tried to sit or snuggle with me. I tried a different product that only slightly helped with my hot flashes helped a little with my mood but I realized I was more forge6. I am a very busy individual working full time and running 4 kids. I have no time to be forgetful. I stopped taking that product and was in search of something new. My doctor suggested this product since my symptoms had become pretty severe she suggested I take 2 for the first 10 days. I don't do well with pills so I thought I would take one in the morning and one at night. After a few days of seeing zero improvement i decided to take both pills at the same time. I finished out the 10 days taking 2 then went to one. I have to say I could not be happier. I still have the occasional hot flash but it is mild and only lasts a short time. It is more like the room is hot and less like I need another shower and change of clothes. I have been taking a few months now and so far no memory issues.and my mood has improved greatly, I am sure I can get a kid approved stamp on that one. I do have a little more energy as well. Now if I can just get rid of this menopausal belly I would be all set. I highly recommend this product

I am only 12 days into taking the medication so far it seems to be working.

I have been on HRT for over 25 years and I knew I needed to get off the meds... but I also knew that I would have intense hot flashes every day. When I say intense, I mean soaked clothes, drenched, dripping wet hair and to the point of being nauseated. But I am 60 years old and I want to live forever and taking HRT isn't going to allow that to happen. So I tried these immediately after running out of my Prempro... About 6 months into taking these (Promensil), I began to wonder if maybe I really didn't need them, as I wasn't experiencing any intense hot flashes on the Promensil... so I stopped taking anything at all and within 4 days I was back to intense hot flashes, drenching wet hair, changing clothes 15 times a day, etc. I immediately ordered some more Promensil and have been back on it now for a couple of weeks and no more intense hot flashes. It takes my body about ten days to absorb and start feeling the affects... so don't give up immediately... do yourself a favor and at least give it the full 30 days, you paid for a 30 day supply... use it!

I am ordering this product for a while already and it was always fine. But this last order was different. Inside the pack of Real Health Promensil Menopause Double Strength Relief, 30 Tablets was only 15 tablets. I can not blame the merchant because pack was factory sealed. But I was very disappointed because I paid for full pack but received only a half of it.

I was getting hot flashes. So, I tried this. I have to say it took at least a couple of months to make a difference......but, it DID make a difference. I took it for a couple years.....wasn't having hot flashes anymore....so, I thought I didn't need to take it anymore....as it is kind of expensive. A couple months later.....after not taking it....hot flashes were back. So...I'm taking it again.....had to go through the 2 month period before they started working....all over again. So, if you try them and they work....don't stop taking them!

These pills have saved my life! Being an older female, I was having 5 to 7 hot flashes a night, which was really robbing me of sleep. I was miserable and constantly tired. Then I started taking these pills (along with using Progesta Cream daily) and in about a month my hot flashes were TOTALLY gone. And they have stayed gone for almost 6 months now. Give it a try!

This was a waste of money. I don't care what the package says this is not double strength! I have been taking the original strength for years and I love it but their running up the prices on them because it's no longer available in the US so I decided to by the double strength and cut them in half and within 48hrs. my hot flashes and night sweats returned proving that their not double the strength of the original dose. Don't be fooled into purchasing this product. I have been searching for other products containing Red Clover but it's hard to find any that doesn't contain all the unneeded stuff like Calcium that gives me kidney stones. If anyone reading this review has found such a product that only requires 1-2 pills a day as opposed to 8-12 please respond to this review with the name of the product. Thank You
