Weighing in at around 275g, it is simply too heavy. For a physician spending long hours doing ward rounds, wearing this around the neck quickly causes noticeable fatigue and discomfort. A Better Alternative: Because the weight is such a significant drawback for daily clinical use, I strongly recommend checking out the Titanium version of this exact stethoscope instead. It offers the same acoustic performance without the neck strain.

As a cardiac nurse, this stethoscope has exceeded my expectations. Able to hear heart sounds and lungs very clearly. Super functional and it isn’t too heavy. I basically wear it around my neck for 12 hours and have no issue. Great size and quality. Instructions and extra ear pieces included!

I have never been able to auscultate so clearly as I can with this. I wish I would have had this back in my student days; it would have made life/learning so much easier! This is one of those cases where more expensive brands aren’t always better. Can’t recommend highly enough. Bonus points for style- the black on black looks especially modern and sleek and matches everything.
