It fits her well and all the stitching and materials are beautiful. The reason for the 3 star review is that there is glitter on this princess gown. You can’t tell until she wears it…then it gets EVERYWHERE!!! When she sleeps in it, it gets all over her face, in her hair, on the bed, just everywhere she goes. I have washed this nightgown about 10 times now and each time I hope that the glitter will stop, but it doesn’t. It’s so bad that we actually don’t like her to wear it because it creates such a mess. We have the Tinkerbell, Elsa, Mirabel, Anna, and some other of this same brand of Disney Princess nightgowns and none of the others have this glitter issue, just this Ariel one. If I had known it would be so bad, we wouldn’t have bought it. Also the glitter sticks on you very well, so much so that I can’t get it off my daughter’s face by trying to brush it off or lightly scratch it off. I have to use a baby wipe and scrub it off or give her a bath and scrub it off. It gets by her eyes and everywhere so it’s not ideal. One time the glitter piece got in her eye and she was screaming. Just a warning if you don’t want to deal with glitter everywhere, don’t get this version of the Ariel nightgown dress! Review: This dress nightgown is perfect for a princess! I have to say having a young daughter while not fully into the Disney films yet still recognizes most of the Disney princesses. These nightgowns while for sleep are good all day wear and boy does my daughter get the most out of these dresses. Most of these dresses are $20 and come in a variety of sizes and designs. Compared to what I have seen in stores and the quality of these you really can't beat this for the price. My daughter already has 5 or so of these with the Ariel one being the most recent. TLDR: Yes buy these, good value, good Quality and on an end note order a size up to be safe.

Bought several of these for my daughter and they really are great and durable! I would definitely recommend staying away from the nightgown la with glitter (Ariel, Elsa, sleeping beauty, etc) because the glitter comes loose and gets EVERYWHERE once is goes through the wash.
