Great approach club and chip and roll.

Good value. Well priced. Decent quality. Nice shaft and grip. More forgiving than a iron…

AT my age, 75, I no longer can hit down on the ball the way I used to. I have become a "sweeper" and thus these clubs are exactly what the "doctor" ordered if I want to keep playing and have a decent game. I'm a 10 handicapper as of this week!!! However, I got the regular shafted clubs and from the general feel of these, I probably should have gone with the Sr. shafts. These regular shafts seem a little (slightly) stiff to me. So I will most likely return them and have the Sr. shafted clubs sent to me. I purchased the 8,9, and PW. They appear to be well made clubs and I'm hoping the change over to Sr. shafts does the trick for me.

I picked up the black 8 (36-degree) hybrid for $50 in hopes it would give me consistency sticking greens in the 125-140 range. On the first hole today stuck a green I usually have trouble with from about 125 out. I absolutely love this club. It gives me a good . Been golfing about 1 year and around a 24-25 handicap. Picking up the PW hybrid immediately shave a few strokes for me, and this 8 is shaving a little more. Played 9 today and shot 45 which is a big improvement for me! Looks great at address. I liked the sound and feel. And, the paint on the bottom wasn’t all scuffed up after playing quite a bit. My PW hybrid has been played a lot more, and is not scuffing - whatever they have finished these with is way better than your typical paint.

I hope I'm not giving this review prematurely. I've been out with these clubs 4 times now, and every time I seem to get more comfortable with them. All you need is a nice smooth good rhythm swing and they'll do their job. I haven't been able to hit irons for a few years. Totally lost my swing (it was a "between the ears thing) a bout 8 years ago, and have been building back bit by bit. I was truly at a point that I couldn't hit a driver more than 125 yards...not exaggerating!! The irons suffered just as bad. I have tried many many different clubs...hybrids, irons, all woods...to the point where I literally have 150 clubs kicking around. These Lazrus hybrids are what they say. Very comfortable to swing (nicely weighted), nice distance, accurate, solid feel, easy to look at. I'm holding off getting too excited, but for now am very pleased. I bought the 6,7,8,9, PW hybrids and am going to get a 3 hybrid. I'll try to remember to report back in a couple months.
