Nice simple bit if kit, does exactly what it’s supposed to. No issues with attachment or detachment so far

Got the mount yesterday evening (29th of December) and I put the adhesive mount onto my phone case to allow it to set overnight. Riding to work this morning (30th December) and the adhesive came off almost causing my phone to fall into the road while on a downhill. The adhesive seems to have re-secured itself to my phone so hopefully it will still work. If not I’ll be requesting a full refund

THE GOOD: best platform for phone, etc. for price index. There are competitor's products made of carbon fiber that weigh only 8 grams but snap, crackle and pop under pressure or during crashing. Also, the carbon fiber options aren't designed with a recessed lip to handle torque load of mounting/rigors of use. This one has the lip that fits perfectly on/in/under the stemcap. Install took less than 2 minutes. Aesthetically, this mount is super clean. I got the orange anchor mechanism, which is really a blend of neon orange/hot pink. The adhesive mount that you stick to your phone does a super job sticking, so use a marker to stencil where you want it BEFORE you carefully put it where you want it, or you'll Forshame yourself while having to order a replacement. Bad: Not a deal breaker, but on a MTB stem, design wouldn't allow me to mount the platform forward on the stem, so I mounted it rearward. (Due to the well-thought out lip design, you can't mount it upside down to get different angles out of it). This actually made better sense, since I didn't want my phone up and forward of the bars during a crash in any case.0⁰0 Ugly: Out of the box, the phone rattles/fits loosely in the mount mechanism. I solved this very annoying problem by carefully trimming painter's tape to apply to the top surfaces of both the clasp and phone mount surfaces. Once I found it worked, I used the painter's tape as a template to cut a copy from Gorilla tape, and mounted the Gorilla tape to both surfaces. This closed the gap. Now it's super snug, and I'm super happy.
