I was tired of imitations and a got the real thing I would never go back

I love this vanilla bean. It isn't like most I've purchased, meaning as tough as shoe leather and difficult to mash or grate; both of the stalks were fresh and pliable. It's also priced better than anything I could find at a grocery store.

The fresh vanilla bean made such a different in the recipe instead of plain vanilla liquid. I used it in home made ice cream and in cookies and delicious. It is a tad difficult and time consuming to cut the bean slowly and take out all the delicious flavoring but well worth it.

Excellent, fresh, large size, GREAT low cost organic. I wish they would offer more than one per bottle, as I feel this is an incredibly wasteful way to package them. If it wasn’t for that they would be 5 star

Makes a lot

Can't do poached pears without vanilla bean. This one was fresh, potently aromatic and flavorful - I knew the moment I opened the jar that my dessert the next evening was going to be a hit - and it was. Not only that, but I only used half, the other half went back in the jar and languished in my spice cabinet for 3 or 4 weeks and was used for the same dessert at my next occasion. Just as potent, just as delicious!

Good value for your money if you dont need something quick. Vailla smelt so good, felt like it couldve been fresher, received and it wasnt as soft.

I don’t know why people said it was molding the vanilla bean is fresh for sure and little threads when getting seeds does not mean it’s mold. If you guys want to know if it’s fresh curl it on your finger if you can’t it means you have a spoiled vanilla bean or old. Thank me later :)
