Q: Is this water soft and so will not put scale in my coffee machine? Our tap water is very hard and we have to descale every month even with light use.

I specifically selected this water as having the best mineral content for my espresso machine. I did a lot of reading at the time and I get very little scale. You need some mineral content - for example, coffee doesn't taste good when made with distilled water.
